I've always preferred the retro shirts like score draw and toffs, although my purple with white stripes away top from 1992 is much treasured.

Won't buy any shirt full price can often find it cheaper on eBay or vinted. I will confess if feels like all shirt manufacturers don't really cater for the fat basta.... I mean big boned amongst us!

I never knew Puma were German. I’ve learned something new today. I don’t know why, I just assumed they were an American company.

Thought it was well known trivia that Puma and Adidas were formed by German brothers.

Adolf (Adi) Dassler used his name to come up with Adidas. Quite clever.

Rudolf Dassler came up with Puma!

Wonder why?

Nike wanted the England / FA contract and bought Umbro to get it

Umbro founded by Wallace and Harold Humphreys in their parents' pub in Wilmslow, the name came from hUMphreys and BROthers. The first instance of a club using “sponsored” kit was the 1934 FAC Final, both clubs wore Umbro supplied kit The Humphreys were City fans and thats why we had a long association with them until interrupted by the Kappa contract then reestablished in 2009 for a short while when under Nike until they sold in 2012 to Iconix
