City Fan Ban

There was one of our fans threw a flare from level three and it landed near the front of level one and could have caused a bad injury. My grandfather died as a result of the Bradford City Fire so people like that are twats I hope they are banned for life...first class dickheads!
that is disgraceful.
i hope the **** that did that is caught.why would anyone do that from high up not having a clue where it would land
from which level 3 ?
south stand ,east ,colin bell ?

I never saw that or anyone i was with either, are you sure it wasnt thrown from behind you on the same level ?

What did you want me to say "yeah it's fukin brilliant"
What did you want me to reply back?

You fucking fun sponge You boring ****?

I went with the safer option of acknowledgment but really a bit of debate maybe, a flat no was a bit pathetic considering.

Personally I think it is a fantastic sight and atmospheric, doesn't mean I want the flares (or is it flairs) or bomb lobbed on the pitch.

Setting a scene before a big game leading a stadia in full voice is brilliant stuff, but then again, some folks don't like people singing or standing up either.

And if a young kid or mother loses an eye or is killed we can call it friendly fire.
Not a question just a different opinion so no need for a reply to call me a boring **** I realise you already think that.

I never said that either tbf I guess you had to read my reply in context it was delivered to the bland reply I got from my original post to the other poster.

As an aside how many eyes are lost on a weekly basis at Galatasary and other clubs that do this on a match by match basis?

I am not dismissing the safety aspect, I can appreciate the danger angle but then life is dangerous, a ball in the face of a young kid from an errant shot would no doubt sting a tad, for example.

Maybe I misunderstood.
The truth is people have died ,lost eyes and been badly injured because of pyrotechnics at football matches.

And they have been innocent victims.

The argument that life is dangerous so que sera, is one you may want to re assess.

It is but it still remains a true statement, there is no guarantee you will lose an eye at a football match, just like in any situation in life.

I pulled ut in front of an artic at a roundabout today because he stuck his indicator on to go down the turnoff that I was sat at, much to my surprise or not really as I drive for a living he came right round the outside and turned down the next turnoff, we had an exchange of horns and I consider myself lucky I didn't fully commit to pulling out.

3 minutes earlier a learner driver came round a roundabout that exits it onto a duel carriageway, lot's of cars take the inside lane and cut across to the outside lane on the dual carriageway to get the edge on wagons, she swerved from the inside lane to the other as she obviously hadn't mastered turning the wheel just yet, she was very lucky.

So that was 8 minutes of my day and I could have been involved in two accidents just like that.
