Many ThanksHallo Mate, I will suggest this to the the people of Schalke, who are going every with the team, to inform and update all fans with news and answer their qusestions.
They are called Fanbetreuer. See what they say and otherwise try to do so for the Home game against Leipzig, on the 15th March.
Great NewsHi All,
Here is the latest update sent to me this morning from my mates sister:
"He is now awake and out of coma, he is responsive and can squeeze our hands and nod answers to yes or no questions. He is unable to talk at the moment due to the tracheostomy tube still in place, the doctors have checked his throat and are confident he will be able to talk again. He has started some physio which will need to be continued when back in the UK. If he continues to improve they are looking at bringing him home in the next 7-10 days. As always thank you all so much for your support I don't think you realise how much this has helped us get through the last couple of weeks"
Needless to say I will post any information when the family send it and allow me to do so.
On a personal note I would also like to thank you all for the help and messages you have sent.
Yes because the family want to keep the press away from them whilst they are going through this traumatic period.
They are stressed enough as it is at the moment, it will all come out I am sure when the family say so.
The BBC nicked from here they did not contact TriggerWonderful news, do we assume BBC contacted you before publishing their article?

Yes I to am a bit amazed by that if everyone on here just put £1 in it would make a huge difference to him and his family once he comes homeGot an update from the GoFundMe campaign this morning; although over £6k raised so far "only" 327 people have made a donation. I know that we all suffer from compassion fatigue these days but I still find that rather shocking. The link is on Page 16...
And we as fans should back the family in this regard. The last thing they want or need is so called reporters hounding them. How do people think a picture of a murder victim appears so quickly in the media ? it is because the press hound relatives until they give them a photo. The poor family are going through enough without the Guardian/Sun badgering them. Not an attack on you Boris but I don't care who he is, he is a Blue and very seriously injured, that is all I need to know. Every day this is the first thread I come to too see if there is an update.
