City fans in the Celtic end next week

I had a similar experience when in the Stratford end for the game when Keith Curle scored a penalty, a lad I knew from school saw me and came over asking what the fuck was I doing in there end, one of my mates peered over him and told I was with him, haha so funny although it was going off in the corner where a load of Blues were and when Curly scored all the blues went mental. Got out alive but not great to stood watching and not cheering when we score

I've been in the home end at loads of away grounds including old trafford for Derbies fifteen or so times, Stoke and Leeds. I find the edginess of being in and among their bile ridden supporters quite exhilarating if I'm being honest and unlike others I enjoy it greatly when we score, even if I can't outwardly react. It's quite intoxicating, as is seeing the crushed expressions on their little faces.

As much as I love Glasgow and its denizens, I'd hesitate before doing the same at Celtic Park. My spider senses tell me it would be too risky with much less capacity for me to talk myself out of a sticky situation, primarily because of my accent. That said, if I was offered a flight and ticket on the morning of the 28th I'd probably feel differently!

I'm the same, I get a real adrenaline rush. Off the top off my head, I've done OT about ten times, Anfield about 5, Highbury, Spurs, Burnley 3 or 4 times, Blackburn 5 or 6 times, Wigan, Wolves, Bradford twice, Preston, Leeds 3 times, QPR, Luton (when the ban was on), Villa and plenty more.

Worst home end i've been in was Liverpool, horrible horrible bastards. They didnt sniff me out fortunately, but a bloke with 2 young lads werent so lucky. Punches thrown, drinks thrown, spitting, the works

I've sat in the Liverpool stand on my own and had people around me chatting amiably about City. We lost 3-0 and were no threat at the time, and were in good seats.

I've sat in the same stand with 50 City on a corporate trip and we came under a hail of pies and spit after celebrating an equaliser. We were thrown out (back to the lounge) that time.

Have done this a few times but more so when it was terracing and easier to move around if reqd

Last time was final against Wigan – must have outed myself somehow as I recvd a few sharp digs when they scored

Was with my dad so could not do much in reply L
