Glasgow is ace. Absolutely love it up there. I still wouldn't go in the away end at Parkhead though. Especially if we're 4 up..
I suppose a lot of that is down to me knowing I wouldn't be able to keep quiet for too long.

Just thought I might never get the chance to see us play up there again, my mate who I've got tickets off is a season ticket holder there and he said as long as we don't do anything daft ie celebrate a city goal we will be fine. looking forward to experiencing the atmosphere

You may never get the chance to see us play anywhere again!!!

Had to buy a three game package for the tickets from Celtic (£129) but already shifted the other two games up here so not to bad!

Worst home end i've been in was Liverpool, horrible horrible bastards. They didnt sniff me out fortunately, but a bloke with 2 young lads werent so lucky. Punches thrown, drinks thrown, spitting, the works

My Dad used to go in home ends sometimes in the 60s. He always says the Kop was the worst - scally scouse kids up into rafters gobbling at you on the way out...and sometimes you were being chased out!

Come to think of it I'm not sure I've asked him why he went in the home end sometimes?? He always said our away support was pretty average (bout 200) in the late 60s except for the big games, so surely they weren't sold out...

Matches were pay at the gate for terracing back then and there was little or no segregation, that's why away numbers for league games varied widely depending on how dodgy the home fans were. We always took much bigger followings for Cup games in the late 60s/early 70s before stricter segregation came in.

At many grounds there was no segregation or designated away ends

There was never any segregation to my knowledge in the 1960s or 1970s. There was self-segregation in that visiting supporter in their right mind would go into the Kop or the Stretford end.

I did go in the home end at Newcastle for the Boxing Day match when City were 2-0 up in seven minutes and won 3-1 with two goals from Tevez. My Geordie son-in-law had bought the tickets for us and he got them in the Gallowgate End! We were sat right behind the numero one nutter in the world. He was a big fat man who didn't wear a shirt even in mid-Winter. I had to be very quiet!

I have just bought a ticket for the Celtic end for next week. I assumed that you would have to be on the database to buy a ticket but it let me register.

If you sing along with the rest of them about joining the IRA, you'll be fine. They don't like the English at all and it's got nothing to do with Scotland, they genuinely do see themselves as Irish Republicans still fighting a cause, so if you're going up there, you'd be better off watching the game in a pub, preferably not a Celtic one.

Thinking of buying a green and white "Mancini" scarf, keeping my mouth shut and I should be fine. Tickets are in the top tier behind the net on the left and my mate said there's no idiots up there, apparently there all in the bottom tier. Anyway il find out one way or the other

Going up without a ticket hopefully get a ticket of a pissed up blue who can't be arsed Togo in I'll pay anything in reason

Unless you can the wristband off them & back on you without ripping it & you have ID that says your whoever's name is on the ticket/wristband you'll be wasting your money
