City Fans Leaving Early/Empty seats

Can it? What sources back your claims up? Or is this another one like how detrimental it is to the team too (even though that isn't true either)

Sometimes I leave early sometimes I don't. I left early last Wednesday because I was there with my daughter. Preferred to get home a bit earlier on a school night if that is ok with everyone. Occasions I stay it all depends what I have planned for my day/evening. Football isn't my life and I don't allocate a full day to it anymore really, more important stuff to do. If they didn't bother attending all the early leavers then it really would be the Emptihad.
"Football isn't my life and I don't allocate a full day to it anymore really".

Lol, the irony.

It isn't your life yet you spend hours most days on here about the team you support, yet you can't support them till the end because you simply cannot be arsed?

Good logic Tom: /

Majority of my posts are Monday-Friday 9-5. I come on here to pass the time at work, if I am out of work I have better more important things to do. Friends/Family anything really. There's many that spend a lot of time posting on here and don't even go to games, I don't get your logic. My point being as previously mentioned not many people want a full day of their weekend being taken up every other week. Big games and away games people will make a day of it and stay. That's one of many reasons why some people might leave early. When did I say I can't be arsed? My one example of leaving early is pretty justified I would say. If you stay until the end then fantastic news.

It’s hardly a full day. Still really don’t understand your rationale. Leaving early might save 20 minutes max. Same with everyone else that leaves at 85 mins. I have enough experience of walking, driving and traming to the ground to know. It doesn’t make much difference.

Have you been on another plant for the last week Tom and missed the delegations that we had to inflate our sponsorship deals with our owners (allegedly) own money? How do you think sponsorship works?

I notice you referenced my comment in a reply to someone else - I’m presuming that’s because it’s tough to reply directly when you’re basically telling us that players don’t care about playing in front of a crowd.

I can’t actually believe this is a point that’s being argued.

.

"Less empty seats leads to a better TV product (money) but also better atmosphere, which in turn affects testosterone levels and territorial behaviour in players, therefore increasing home advantage. There’s financial value in every added league point too."

Our club captains words.....

Just a question and I’m not trying to be controversial. Why do you go to watch City?

Where, where, anywhere near 125? :-) I just want the chips, I sometime crave the chips when I'm coming straight to the match from a meeting!! I don't like curry sauce and I don't even like gravy on chips............. yes I am a Mancunian........ well an Ecclesian I suppose!!!
Sorry I’m on level 2 in the East Stand, but they are nice chips
