I get back the proportion of the season ticket i have traded not the value of the ticket sold on.

You said there was no cash incentive - the value of your seat as a season card holder is 1/19th of your total spend. Your seat didn't cost you £50+ and therefore you do get back the cost of your seat.I get back the proportion of the season ticket i have traded not the value of the ticket sold on.
Thats not a fair statement.... i live over 225 miles away from the stadium and have missed only two home matches this season . What buggers me up is when the fixtures are changed to suit the TV and I then have to make alternative arrangements around work. Im sure there are many others in a similar boat.
No he didn't. It was more folk going early he had a problem with. And tbh its fuckall to do with the players & Pep if someone chooses to not turn up or decides to do one early. If you recall his post match interview after the Arsenal home game last season, then you’ll know that Pep (on behalf of his players) completely disagrees with you
Who gives a fuck about a few hundred empty seats, we’ve still got 50,000+ blues in the ground every week - more than we’ve ever averaged. This enormous group of regular match going fans will grow year on year as the kids get to be young men and want to go every week and their friends go with them. 10 years from now I’d be surprised if we weren’t selling 61000 tickets every home game.
The real issue is the atmosphere, it’s almost embarrassingly bad

He just gets his money for the seat back, so he can't make any profit by selling his ticket through the club.
Anyway, if someone is selling it on, I don't see a problem. The seat is being filled. It's those that don't sell them on that leave an empty seat. Again though that isn't the main problem. It's when blocks of tickets are given to groups of kids from around the isle that then for some reason (such as the weather last week) are unable to attend.
The match had been sold out for weeks with just the occasional ticket coming up for resale that was always snapped up immediately. Took me about three weeks checking every day to get a single extra ticket. Any odd empty seats were down to ST holders not turning up and not bothering to resell. Empty rows in the family stand on this occasion must be down to coach parties not making it due to the weather. There were two empty rows in the away end which also must have been due to a coach not making it.It's still sad to see empty seats while City fans can't get a ticket. Or maybe the thought of paying £60 for a ticket, regardless of Pep, the way the team is playing, and the title is all but won, is too much for our fans.
Chelsa at home, 5 wins from the title, best football ever, and the stadium still isn't full.
Something wrong.

I think touts/travel firms, have got hold of a load of these seats.
Tried to buy a ticket for a mate a month or so ago but it was sold out yet theres literally rows and rows in the family stand all empty. Not arsed about empty seats on the whole but got to wonder how many fans from abroad will only go onto the site and not use other routes to get a spare?
People who are coming on here making a big issue about it are mostly people like me , who for whatever reason cant get to every game , but try and get to as many as possible , its frustrating when youve been trying for months to get a ticket to no avail and then see so many empty seats ..there were rows of empty seats near the bottom but that is largely down to the club trying to encourage school kids to come and for whatever the reason (I expect the weather) didn't come and yes if they are not coming may be the club could do something to reallocate those tickets - that needs looking at
But also There were quite a lot of gaps in ss level 3 yesterday (there is in a lot of games) .
However we are obsessing about something on this thread which is absolutely not unique to City - all clubs have no shows occasionally and all clubs have fans that leave early - always have and always will. I am not sure why people come on here and make a big issue about it and use it as an excuse for the real elephant in the room and that is the lack of atmosphere at the games which despite fantastic football is declining for many many reasons.
Exactly. I couldn't get tickets for my kids yesterday, so was really pleased to be sat next to 8 empty seatsPeople who are coming on here making a big issue about it are mostly people like me , who for whatever reason cant get to every game , but try and get to as many as possible , its frustrating when youve been trying for months to get a ticket to no avail and then see so many empty seats ..
This is the first time i,ve missed the Chelsea home game in possibly 10 years and even before the Mansour era , there was rarely an empty seat , obviously people cant get for whatever reason and thats unavoidable but as i said in my previous post surely the empty seats would be randomly spread around if this was the case.. Sorry for making a big issue out of it on "an empty seats" discussion thread...
