Not sure I agree with you re Lescott I still think he may have the quality in the longer term. Bar the penalty he gave away against Wolves I have been impressed with recent performances. Definitely worth a place in the squad to come in for particular games in a similar role to the one that O'Shea performs for the rags. Not first 11 but reliable when needed for certain games.

And Swp also leaving after this season. We are going to buy players after this season but it will not be like 20-30 million signings. So people should stop playing fantasy football :D we are not gonig to sign Messi or a player like that.
Really didn't think Lescott was that old - mind you there could still be another 6 years left in him. Not sure what money he's on but we'll have to agree to disagree. I think he is a good squad player and we need a quota of English players in the squad too.

Yeh...i bet we sign a english player or two in the next window. Wonder who...i would like Jack Rodwell :D It's important to have english players because they adapt better and usually last longer in a english club. Foreign players might want to leave after a couple of years.
Excited about the future :D I really want to see what we bring this summer.

This is the most coherant and accurate post I have read on here for ages. Times have changed and unfortuntately it seems we are not, and I say 'we' because we are all on this together. Bad vibes feed down onto the pitch and players will feel inhibited and lose confidence. I know that City fans of certain ages have had lots to moan about, in our time we have seen some real shite and remained loyal. Before the press turned 'anti' we were heralded as the best supporters, turning out 30,000 fans in League 1 against dross. Keep perspective, have patience, do not resent new fans or dismiss them as 'plastic', things have to change.

Have been thinking along these lines myself for a while now, but was unable to articulate the feelings as well as you have. Great post mate, well said.
When i go for a job interview could you write what i am thinking cause i could never write my thought like you write your posts :)
I agree and on here i think its twice as bad when i new poster signs up, i have had 2 accounts on here and cancelled 2 of them cause i was called a dick for getting some minor fact wrong which i held my hands up to.
While watching the arsenal game you could tell they got they spirit up from the fans even the players were waving to the fans to get them going.
If you watch American football (sorry my guilty pleasure) you see the players waving their arms at crucial points to get the crowd behind them, petrov used to do it when he came over to take a corner, its so easy to see when the team gets lifted by the crowds reaction.
I some times cringe when the fans get on to pa players back for taking to much time to pass or when Joe takes his time to find the right player to get the ball out to.
