I've said on here before City have their fair share of dickhead fans, who love wallowing in misery, and whose cup is always half-empty.

I was once at an opening game of the season at Maine Road and the dick next to me way slating a player making his debut(I forget who) 10 minutes after the game had kicked off!

We've all sat next to them, the sour faced cunts.

Even if its someone taking the piss, there isnt much here that I disagree with. Some of the 'this player is shit, that player is shit' threads on here post game are embarrassing at times.

My dick is firmly out. Well to be fair, it was before I read the OP ;)

Good post - a shot of perspective helps. Speaking for myself (but i'm sure its a general feeling amongst a lot of us - hence a lot of the flappy posts lately) i'm finding it hard not to panic that we might not get top 4. But that is precisely because we have come such a long way, and to finish in the same spot will be gutting, and i want to keep mancini as i think he is learning and will reach legendary status one day (with us).

Cracking post. I would like to ask what % of the posters that slag players off are SC holders that also travel away.
I go to a lot of away matches and tend to see the same faces. Most of which inhabit SS & 110/111. These guys support the lads.

Completely understand you being nervous about not getting top 4, I am too, it was that nervousness that prompted me to post my 'attention whoring' thread, because it's now that we as fans need to hold our nerve and get behind the boys.

We've got the quality, of that I'm certain, we just need to keep the faith, believe we can do it and not tear ourselves apart. We have enough enemies in the media who are more than happy to do that for us.

Lets just enjoy the ride, we haven't been this good in my life time. If we miss out on 4th it will be a dent to our progress but not a disaster. The longer these players have together the better they will get.

I must say my posting confidence has shot through the roof after this thread and I don't mind admitting its made me feel quite good ! Thanks fellow bluemooners !

I might get a bit of stick for this post but having lived up north in the midlands now in London and abroad in Germany and Slovenia for few years I always found that in midlands and up north the people were the most negative. Also it felt like the outsiders weren't accepted which kinda explains people mocking the bosnians who joined the forum.
