Hahaha. Never seen that before...

Does anybody know what that's from? That's ace.

Nice sentiments mate, but your post is the football equivalent at the guy at a teenage party going 'we should all live in peace, war's like really bad and people should just live in peace and the world leader should just take e and have a party'

It isnt going to happen.

Footballs a game watched by large groups of men, many working class, many fuelled by beer and adrenaline. Whether you watch city, villa or accrington Stanley, it has always happened and always will. Not trying to piss on your chips because I know your post is positive and well written.

You also need to remember that a forum is the equivalent of the pub after the game. People will always be critical and opinionated, whether they're right or wrong, even if they sang their heart out in the stands. It's one of the great things about football.

The players need to convince us they're good enough, not the other way round.

Part of going to the game is talking about the players, their form, etc. If they're playing shit then they're playing shit. If Silva plays a loose ball, let him have it, why not? I suppose we should all sit there saying how ace they all are like starstruck schoolgirls.

Try a bit of encouragement after a bad pass! You'll be surprised how much this will work! Rather than moaning at it!

A top post, its like i wrote it myself!

I look at YouTube posts on these pages of other teams fans, i watch some of these 'obscure' European clubs, like Aris on TV, and marvel at the noise and passion of the fans, and wish we had that type of 'pressure cooker' atmosphere at COMS to drive on our own players and terrify the opposition.

I look at Portsmouth, and have tremendous respect for the passion of thier fans. I remember the Arse at Pompey a few years ago, Pompey got reamed 4 or 5 nil, yet the home fans never stopped singin or backing the team, and that i guess it what its all about.

Remember Hamburg at home the other year? What an atmosphere!, so it is there, we can do it, and even though we ultimately lost the tie, that game is still spoken of on here as a tremendous game.

Come on blues, lets get right behind the lads tomorrow, let em know what this game means and how much we want it! Lets play our part whether its the rags or Notts County!!!

I consider myself motivated!

I know the op was well intentioned, but it has bugged me. The thought that mainly working class, hard working people, who spend their hard earned cash supporting the club they've been brought up to love, are responsible for the fact that some highly paid, mard arse prima donnas, are underperforming, is just laughable to me. Apart from the fact that some of these players are earning more in a week than some of the fans earn in ten years, the fans are right behind the team where it counts - at matches. Fair enough, many like to come on here and piss and moan about Player X or Player Y, but so what? I doubt many of the players will lose any sleep over anything that's written on here (that's if they can even be bothered to visits Fan Sites), and, even if they do, it might do them a bit of good to hear that their performances aren't cutting the mustard. Too big headed and self important by half most of 'em imo.

Where can I experience an example of this sycophantic utopia you speak of? Sounds sickening.
