Really made me smile when I read Dave and Sue as Jimmy Jewel and Hylda Baker.

But I thought you were a bit harsh on Tom Ritchie... surely he's far more handsome than Hugh Grant?

At least, that's what I'd heard...

I'd have him as more of a John Hurt...always plays the victims......Or maybe, keeping the 'Nearest and Dearest' theme, he could be Walter?

Always remember, I made you famous. And if I choose I can take it all away from you again...

You've just made me spray a mouthful of shortbread all over my screen at work with that comment. Very good.

Are you having the stay over at Leicester as well? The numbers are rising and i'm sorting the accom this week?

You can cast a dead celebrity in their first acting role if you want.

Anything goes.

Right then....

Dave and Sue Wallace = Prince Philip (or Phillip) and Her Maj

Noel Bayley = Bernard Bresslaw/Ray Winstone (It can go to the vote)

Dante Friend = Christopher Eccleston

Phil/Phill Gatenby = Morrissey

Bill Borrows = Bernard Manning

M27 = Danny DeVito

The others are coming don't worry, bear with me............:)

ecclestone ? he's a red, sack that... can i have david threlfall (frank gallagher off shameless) instead please

Instead of a film, I see it more as a 70s or 80s-style sitcom, complete with unrealistic canned laughter, where they all live in the same street and can't go a day without something zany happening that drags them and their opposing personalities and prejudices into all manner of hilarious scrapes. A Love Thy Neighbour or George and Mildred for our times. Perhaps someone from Rag Issue can play the inevitably exaggerated homosexual next door neighbour

If there's a role made for Pete Boyle it's that one.

Reading all this takes me back. I recall walking past the back of the North Stand one day when Dave and Noel were stood together and Noel was saying to Dave that he was “fleecing the punters” just as they were buying off him and Dave was then shouting back, no I’m not, no I’m not. Thought it was hilarious at the time

This is typical of Noel in my view alright i'm a KK reader and have bought bth before but youd buy off Dave and youd get a smile and when you buy off Noel and he's be a right miserable git!!
