This has probably been asked before, but when are last season's accounts released? Be interesting to see how close to breaking even we are.
No one knows, but 2012-13 figures were released in January this year. So probably November at the earliest and January the latest.

i was very surprised our owners did not buy the above, or similar.
from my understanding they could call the mcfc or something like and add the turnover into the accounts.

Does this mean we could realistically sign Messi and Pogba next summer?
Messi will not be going anywhere. Barcelona have a transfer embargo until 2016.

Any later than that and he will be heading towards 30. Not worth the money he will cost.

Like the last transfer embargo that saw Neymar turn up? Watch what they do, not what they say!

Just saw David Dein interviewed at the soccerex on TV. Funny how he wasn't concerned about FFP whilst he was spending Danny Fizman's Pat Cash on Bergkamp and Overmars. Self generated? Absolute clown.

The revenues from our current sponsorship deals have been discussed often on here, and at length, with some people thinking we aren't getting much off Nissan and other sponsors.

The figure(Hays) below, if true, could put the Nissan sponsorship deal in a different and much better light. After all, Hays are getting nowhere near the exposure Nissan are getting here, in America, and in Australia.

Sports marketing firm in legal spat with City over sponsorship deal

26th September 2014

By Chris Barry - Editor, North West

A SPORTS marketing agency is set to sue Premier League champions Manchester City over a commission it claims is owed on a multi-million pound sponsorship deal.

Manchester City agreed a three year deal with FTSE 250 recruitment company Hays in July 2013, which is understood to be worth around £5m over its duration.

Rush Sports Marketing, a business backed by Paul Johnson and Darryl Eales, two senior former executives from private equity firm LDC, claims it is owed a 10% commission on the deal, which it claims to have introduced to the club.

The parties have been locked in dispute for the last 14 months, with a source close to Rush telling TheBusinessDesk.com that it is determined to go the distance in the dispute.

"This is a David versus Goliath battle and Rush has a strong case. It appears it is a common tactic for large football clubs to seek to take smaller agencies through a costly and lengthy court process, assuming they will leave the pitch due to a lack of financial resource, but this is not the case here."

Rush, which has an office in Oxfordshire and also Hong Kong, counts former LDC Manchester head Johnson and the firm's recently departed chief executive Darryl Eales - who is chairman of Oxford United FC- as directors.

Neither were available for comment when contacted by TheBusinessDesk.com.

A spokesman for CIty Football Group said: "As this is an on-going legal issue, it wouldn’t be appropriate for any of the parties to comment."

Manchester City FC is being represented by law firm Pinsent Masons and Rush by Manchester-based Millbank Edge.

We will blow it all out of the water in the next few weeks.

When the campus opens the world and Uefa will be foaming at the mouth at the size of some sponsorship deals.

They were warned, 'a pinch'.

tolm would we be able to have a sponser for the new south stand like nissan etc...
or would this be a conflict with stadium sponsership?
