Mullock is well connected at the club. Exciting news if true, confirms what Tolmie said a few days ago.

No doubt UEFA will amend FFP rules accordingly in some way.

Re: City & FFP (continued)

Expect UEFA to reassess the Etihad sponsorship deal

The main thing for me was all the noise made when we first made the deal but looking at other clubs deals since, our current deal is cheap consustung of stadium, shirt etc. if we get more we can use other clubs deals now as benchmarks as they have set the stalls out

Re: City & FFP (continued)

By how much are these deals expected to increase our revenue per season?

No comments from the bitter rags I see....the c**ts are been dumbstruck into silence.

An extra 10 to 15 million a season is significant but hardly ground breaking.

The Premier League champions are also ready to unveil a number of newly agreed packages to tie in with their £150m training complex too

Manchester City are about to hit a £400m jackpot.

The Premier League champions are in talks about extending their huge sponsorship deal with Etihad Airways that will bank them an extra £320million.

And City also ready to unveil a number of sponsorship packages ties to their new £150million Academy and training ground that will be worth a further £80million.

The deals will blow away any doubts that the Blues will struggle to meet UEFA’s Financial Fair Play Regulations after being hit with a raft of punishments earlier this year.

City are three years into a 10-year deal with Etihad worth £400million. The airline sponsors the stadium, shirt and a campus which will include the club’s new state-of-the-art training ground.

But it is understood that the agreement is about to be extended a further five years - and an improvement in terms that would see City bank £50million-a-season from the deal.

Builders are currently putting the finishing touches to the training ground, with Manuel Pellegrini’s first-team squad set to move in by the end of the month.

City have already had branding plans approved by the local council and are understood to be close to announcing three partners who will have their names emblazoned all around the complex.

It will include naming rights for a 7,000-capacity stadium to play reserve and youth-team matches and sponsorship for the first-team HQ.

A new bridge linking the Etihad Stadium with the training ground will also have a sponsor.

Each partner will pay around £25million over the course of a five-year deal.

Re: City & FFP (continued)

So an extra 10 million a season from Etihad and 16 million a season from the Academy sponsorships.

26 million a season is not to be sniffed at.

Etihad deal was 32m per year, not 40m, wasn't it?
