City & FFP | 2020/21 Accounts released | Revenues of £569.8m, £2.4m profit (p 2395)

It's such a shame that the Great Unwashed, readership of this shite, lap it up and form the wrong opinions of us on a daily basis.

This in turn fuels the agenda.

All well, fuck 'em.

The one and only, he's penned two feature length articles on the subject... on their site.

He's a bad, bad tool. Another journalist whose contempt for City prevents him from reporting objectively. A disgrace to his profession, like his name sale Rob.

Maybe if City did anything - something - the tiniest thing - about them, they would be a bit more restrained in their attacks against the club. I'm not saying ban them all, but there must be some way to deal with the complete disrespect shown to the club.

I don't think they need to go through the public scrutiny of banning them from the club. Just make them persona non grata. Those publications don't get called upon to ask questions by our communications director during news conferences. Make everyone in the organization go dark toward giving them stories. When they come to our stadium, make them sit alone. Don't answer their calls. Give them nothing to print.

They'll get the idea sooner or later.

As far as I'm aware, Nick Harris is a freelance journalist. He doesn't report on our games, so there is little point in banning him from the stadium or our press conferences.

The club could, of course, punish The Daily Mail as a paper by barring their reporters, but that would be ludicrous. Their chief reporter, Martin Samuel, is incredibly sympathetic to our plight, more so than any other journalist.

That's why it frustrates me when people say we're being weak or doing nothing. It oversimplifies things greatly.

How we deal with the press is a complex issue; there is no easy solution. As mentioned previously, you can only imagine the shitstorm we'd face regarding freedom of speech if we starting banning journalists. We're not Manchester United, and Pellegrini isn't Ferguson. The situations aren't comparable.

As such, I understand the long term approach we're taking now. It's a bit galling, but we don't really have any other option at the moment.

Not sure whether this is a genuine story or not.

We know that City's accounts will be scrutinised for 2013-14 as part of the settlement agreement that was made last Summer.

The fact about us moving staff to CFG has Nick Harris lifted from Swiss Rambles excellent blog about our latest financial statement http://swissramble.blogspot.se/search/l ... ter%20City the cnut then contacted UEFA and asked if they were aware of this...

It is such a stupid nothing story by the Mail and others basically presenting something as something else.

UEFA do have a probe on our books, they do in every club and especially those who are marginal or who fell foul. Of course they were going to look at these and they probably already have . They will probe into the accounts of any club playing in their competitions it's the rules.

It is comical and this is just a newspaper making something of nothing to sell more ad space (which sadly is a journalists job)

He's a fucking idiot. They use a Big Four firm like Deloitte or PriceWaterhouse to scrutinize our accounts.

Whatever we've done with our accounts, we've done it with that in mind. It's pretty clever to buy all these clubs and distribute overhead to all of them. Perfectly legal from an accounting perspective, btw.

I think there is little chance UEFA wouldn't have been aware of it. Given the way they screwed us in the summer, I suspect we'll be running most things by them now to ensure they don't fuck us over again. Nick Harris likes to think this is a Watergate moment, when patently it's not.

Course they are aware of it , it hasn't been hidden it is Cleary disclosed and a year 1 accountancy a level student can see it and it is something that happens in tens or hundreds of thousands of businesses and the world and every multinational out there.

UEFA already knows all about this and it shouldn't be an issue.
He just needed a quote from UEFA to sell his conspricy story to the Mail. Nick Harris is an amateur.
