they will feel fine , because if we do win the premiership on sunday , richard scudamore will instruct us to take it down the M62 and give it to Brenda , because they play football the right way , all their players are english and they play for nowt and stevie G deserves it along with the 96 in the sky.

This has bugged me since the loss at Anfield. The press went balistic - 'Pool play the right way etc. etc... They were creaming themselves - gona win the league - nailed on etc.etc.
But in my eyes City won 2-1 at the Etihad - 'Pool won 3-2 at Anfield so the aggregate was 4-4. They were not better than us -

I can vouch for this.

Financial Fair Play is just a shoddy way of saying the ambitious cannot enter the select elite club Champions League. Imagine if Fleetwood or Morecambe had a billionaire who invested in their academy, ground and playing staff... as well as kick starting the economy locally and nationally, it'd be a positive move for football. the tax man would be happy too, then the EU would have more pennies for the bailouts.

Re: City & FFP (continued)

the press know nowt and are just second guessing that city are one of the clubs charged. what for they dont know either. we most likely have been charged but should not admit guilt as that would let uefa off. by all means take the punishment but never admit guilt as any punishment will be repaid tenfold . the agent bringing his case later this year has a good chance of winning this could cost tens of millions and uefa will pay and change the rules .but when a player brings his case he will succeed that will open the watershed that will cost uefa billions that they and thier insurers and the underwriters cant afford all it takes is city putting an offer for ronaldo of 200 mill and a mill a week and not being allowed by uefa. ps have we really put a bid for messi. and does the shiek want to own uefa or does psg

What exactly are the details of PSG's deal with QTA? Their stadium is the Parc de Princes, their shirt sponsors are Fly Emirates and even looking at their webside I don't see anything.

If their deal is to be reduced it should be no higher than ours. Talk of only halving sure will mean it's still double ours.
I had a thought this morning sort of concerning this.
If PSG's punishment is similar or even lower than ours then would it not look like UEFA trying to set City and PSG at each others throats, thus changing our focus away from themselves?

Unlike UEFA, I would like this as it would be a day out at the seaside; who are they to say which cities and towns have any right to have Champions League football?
