I very much doubt that City haven't had plans in place to cover every possible outcome regarding the sanctions levied. I expect a very swift response to this shameful decision.

Honestly, I think this will have wrong-footed us.

All the actions and vibes coming from City were that we have been working with UEFA throughout, running our business in a measured, professional and sustainable way, and with every intention of complying with the break-even requirements in the short, medium and long term (albeit with due allowance for pre-2010 contracts).

I think we full expected nothing more than a reprimand at most and we are probably reeling (not to mention furious) at the line UEFA are supposedly taking.

Re: City & FFP (continued)

should have a separate review into how UEFA spends 50 million from each of City and PSG. who are UEFA accountable to?

It's pointless arguing wit you, because it's obvious you really don't understand and you come from it from a United agenda

I have no agenda here, I personally think it's embarrassing they're willing to charge clubs this amount for FFP yet refuse to take this strong of a stance for racism charges.

All I'm saying is people talking about boycotting the Champions League, or suing UEFA for losses if they're barred are being absent minded from the fact that UEFA can choose to exclude City from CL and face zero repercussions.
Have you got any kind of a background in Law mate?

I wouldn't bother Aguero93:20. Tried having a conversation with an intelligent rag yesterday about FFP and lost interest after about 60 seconds when it was apparent they had no clue as to how it worked. How long one would last with an idiot rag, would be futile.

Operation UEFA Corrupt

I'm going buying a huge bed sheet tonight and write a personal message to UEFA. . Let's all get together and let our feeling known to this bunch or corrupt, racist organisation. Let's get as many banners with messages on as possible for the game tomorrow.

What happens if we lose in court?
We lose in court.

There very worst situation we could ever face is going back to being shit.

Not like we haven't been there before and I think I could manage that having seen us win the prem (and hopefully twice), the FA cup and the League cup as well as watching us play Barca, Real Madrid and Bayern at our place.....

7 years ago I would have thought anyone was going mad had they said I would witness this.

Whatever happens, happens. The one constant in our great club is the loyalty of the fans and that will never change.

Of course that is the worse case.

The best case is the sheikh starts to pull in some favours from his many contacts and all of a sudden our income starts flying through the roof! I see lots more big sponsorship deals from companies no one has heard of!

No. As has been previously stated, the Champions League is not an invite-only competition and is subject to EU employment law, rendering your entire point obsolete.

It also isn't an invite only competition at all in principle, it is a competition organized by UEFA as part of a competition between the clubs of member associations. The FA for example has a responsibility to make teams who qualify on their merit available for the Champions League. Teams refusing to do so puts the FA's association with UEFA at risk rather than it simply falling to the next team. The Champions League becomes quite ineffective as a name when the 7th place team in a league is competing in it.
