What is sad about all this is that the dream factor has been taken away from fans of many great clubs of yesteryear.

The likes of Burnley, Preston, Blackburn, Wolves, Sheffield Wednesday to name but a few. Some of them are the founder members of English football.

Aston Villa have won the European Cup, so have Nottingham Forest. That won't happen again with FFP in place, no matter what UEFA say.

I hope we win the League and if necessary take these wankers on.

Exactly they have zero chance of winning the league or competing in the champions league ever again.Zero.Meanwhile the rich clubs will get richer, the gap wider and greed will prevail.Eventually the top clubs WILL break away and form a European super league, which is what they were going to do before UEFA compromised by creating the champions league.

We scared the crap out of them.Whelan admitted as much when a version of FFP was being mooted for the premier league. They have rushed all this in to try and derail us,unfortunately for them i think we just beat them to it,so their only option now is to kick the shit out of us by bending the rules.

I pray we have a strong case and expose this bunch of corrupt bloated wankers for what they are,FFP dies a death and we go on to dominate world football for years, leaving the rags, the gooners and dippers crying into their beer in the process!!

The first 40 seconds is the most important and just shows how vested interests lobby rulemakers to suit themselves.

so do we acknowledge uefa's 'right' to arbitrarily make up new rules to protect their favourites by paying up and setting the precedent which condemns us and everyone else to more of the same moving forward?

or do we fight the cartel (as yes we can afford to) on behalf of all clubs who would like the chance of the same opportunity as us one fine day but would be denied it it by uefa if their cartel gets their way and restricts any future opportunities for the vast majority of football clubs unless they can afford to take on and service (or try to) MASSIVE debts of course? In UEFA-world debt is good apparently

it is in footballs interests overall that we deny the biased cunts and fight them all the way
Who are these clubs on whose behalf we should fight the good fight? Not the fucking turkeys that voted for the christmas that is the EPL version of FFP i hope.
I say lets do whats in our own interests and fuck everybody else, because i can guarantee you that every chairman of every other EPL club will stand by and watch without saying so much as a word while UEFA and the G14 try to annihilate us. Everyone of them a greedy, selfish, unprincipled bastard to a man.
The silence is fucking deafening.

Re: City & FFP (continued)

My life being a City fan has been about standing up to the more popular "bigger boys",
supporting City at school full of Rags being the example.
Having a crack at them bastards in a derby was as good as it got.

Now if City was to fight the lot of them, in the courts for blatant corruption
& favouritism, then it would make me immensely proud,
even if we lost.

Re: City & FFP (continued)

Just to add my 2p worth, and not read all the posts on here as iv been working away this week and struggled for the internet so may been said already...

This is a topic iv always tried to coment on but found myself writing lines and lines of ranting that even when iv read it back to mysel found it's hard to understand then deleted , with the pure injustice of what's going on, even when it's so blatantly to see how corrupt this is..

If we are I fact getting hit with a £50 mill fine then WHAT .... That's just taking the piss... £50 mill for thease cunts to line there own pockets with is equivalent to a years chumps league earnings, We may as well take a ban break even next year and enter the year after without giving them cunts a penny to buy another villa where ever ... We would then smash the league without having the trouble of playing champs league games...

On the topic of chalaging it,
i think we may be better off funding someone else to do it, agent ( like the one doing it already ) club or player that's not connected to City...
We don't need the bad press and maybe we could come out of a expulsion smelling of roses , speaking in markiting turms here, just like the dippers and rags have done , (use a injustice / disaster to create publicity ) couldn't buy advertising like that. ( prob could but wouldn't be cheep )

I think if we went for it ourselves we could come up against Some real prejudice against what we're trying to do , our owners , our club, or perhaps the powers that be have allegences to one of the bigger clubs,, maybe if the bosman case was a bigger profile player the law maybe would have thought fk you with all that money ...
Excuse the spelling
