Anyone know what is Gill's exact role at uefa, and also if he is still employed by the scum in any capacity?

if we bow to UEFA's demands this year ,they will move the goalposts again , and make us pay a £100m next year , make a stand now , tell them to fcuk off , we will have our day in court.

yep

we should do this even if we *may* ultimately lose (not that i believe we would if we take it all the way to the ECJ)

the point is not to accept an arbitrary ruling from a corrupt set of bureaucrats fronting a cartel

to do so sets the precedent and acknowledges their ''right'' to move the goalposts and screw us over (again and again no doubt)

it's a matter of principle

fuck uefa

From the Mail:

Having stepped down from his post at Old Trafford at the end of last season to become a UEFA executive member, Gill has now been appointed chairman of the governing body’s extremely influential Club Licensing Committee.

IIRC he's still on their board and a director. The conflict of interest is obvious but they don't care.

Re: City & FFP (continued)

There are no quotes in the article, we aren't going to be expelled from the champions league next season. OH, and how convenient it comes out the day before the biggest match of the season! Scouser and Rag press all over this!

I'd break the bank and get Gerrie Nel on it.

Nah, OJ Simpson's lawyers -----> Nel. Get them on the job!

Also I'd rather have Ferguson's lawyer who got the old **** of a speeding offence for shitting in his pants :O

Saying that, the prosecution may have backed down when they were given evidence that the old Glaswegian shat himself on a regular occurrence.

Re: City & FFP (continued)

I have absolute faith that the Sheiks chosen people to run our club are more than capable of dealing with the buffoons at UEFA .

I truly hope the speculation is true and that we are refusing to buckle to their outrageous corrupt demands.

My belief is that City are in the right and the truth will out . Bring it on Mr Platini/Gill et al - you fuckers have bitten off more than you can chew !!!

Spot on. dcitd you need to get a grip, C.A.S and ECJ are not UEFA's gimps. That's Wenger's job.
Anyone would think Peter Swales was still running the club using a high street firm of solicitors from Altrincham to take on UEFA, if some of the abject surrender on this thread was anything to go by.

Well considering we have been in constant touch with UEFA over this and many ITK have consistently said on this thread there is no issue with FFP then i would suggest that if the fine of 50M squad restrictions etc are true then the Altrincham solicitors would not have done much worse and would have been half the price

Its a fucking football forum with people having views do you honestly not think that we are getting fucked over and every one is watching it happen with fucking smile ontheir faces.
I 'honestly think' that the club is sufficiently professionally resourced to deal with this situation. That view is based on logic and reason, not, as you appear to, rooted in what someone has posted on a.......errrr.......fucking football forum.

Are you scared of the dark?
