Seems that the guy heading up the whole process has dropped off his perch!
Are you suggesting we've put a hit out on some people?

Agreed; some people on here would want to take a look at themselves.

PB: I was being ironic.

If City have failed by a small margin to get the 80 million(ish) in Pre June 2010 contracts excluded then they would have structured the mancini severance package differently and easily complied (or one of a million other things).
Then again the CFCB could driving through their own rules like a Bull in a China Shop and PWC could have indeed invented a whole new meaning for Related Party.
I realise you were being ironic but it was a point worth making and one overlooked to a large degree. If you turned up to court on a speeding charge and got sent down for 10 years, your lawyer would have the sentence laughed out of court.

The point about the Mancini settlement is also a good one. I notice that Brain Dead Ed suggested we'd put all of that through the 2013 accounts to deliberately fail FFP. Really - what can you say about a comment as stupid as that.

PB: So deciding the actual scale of penalties at the point when FFP is evaluated is fair?
If I understand you correctly, no and I don't think I've ever implied that.

A scale of penalties should be clear beforehand. As in the justice system, there should be a tariff, with guidance as to how that could applied either more leniently or more harshly, depending on circumstances.

I believe that's one of the key points we could challenge at CAS.

The more you look into the various aspects the more screwed up it is. Surely common sense says if they are being in new regulations in 2 years time the boundries of what is acceptable, what is excluded, what baseline fines or penalties will be and what dispensations are given for a positive trajectory need to be agreed documented at the time not a week after their own deadline?
And the whole PSG we dont give a fuck, but will accept a small fine approach and say we are guilty is a way more severe breach given our year on year results but penalised less.

All I said that was he was corrupt - he oversaw a Belgian bank to bankruptcy with a multi billion debt.

And he fell down the stairs, so he obviously wasnt looking.

And he was definitely fat.

I did make up the twat bit though. Maybe he was nice to his mum.

The PSG issue stinks, given Platini's son is on the board - UEFA would appear to be rotten to the core!!

He was also responsible for withdrawing the Belgian troops from Rwanda allowing the 1994 genocide that took the lives of 800,000 Tutsis

Wow. Didn't know that. So I should have said genocide facilitator as well.

Look like he got off lightly with me just calling him a stupid, fat, corrupt financial twat.
