If that lawyer wins his FFP challenge at the ECJ in the next year or two, can we claim compensation?

Yep. I'd have thought we'd have grounds to sue (but we wouldn't have the motivation to) so UEFA would probably reimburse us of the with-held revenue but that would be it I'd have thought.

Re: City & FFP (continued)

Have we got a £50m fine as well? Couldn't see any mention of that in the city statement but it has been mentioned a few times

We've been deducted 10m prize money in each of the next two years with a 40m suspended fine that we don't have to pay if we hit certain targets (a loss of less than 20m in the current season and 10m next season).

Re: City & FFP (continued)

Half way down the page in this article about Sepp Blatter and the Qatar World Cup, there is a PS box outlined in green containing the following....

PS
Manchester City have ‘accepted’ a fine of £49million under UEFA’s Financial Fair Play regime. They have also promised not to spend more than £49m net in the transfer window this summer.
And they have recognised that they may lose a total of £24m in the next two seasons (unlike 2011-12 and 2012-13, when they lost a combined £150m). Such figures offer food for thought. As you agonise over the crippling cost of food, clothes, transport, gas and electricity, you might pause to reflect that there is always somebody worse off than you.

But can we make platini appear on TV in a pink dress and make him say " I've been a very naughty little girl"?

Just to clarify the figures aguero93:20 is quoting are in € NOT £
