Finally caught up with this thread. You lot type fast!

It does appear that our much maligned PR Dept are working overtime otherwise you would NOT have such a quick change in press opinion. We haven't played ball with them since the takeover and they've hated us for it. All of a sudden they're saying its unfair on City etc etc. They are all quoting similar things :-

Area regeneration
No debt
It's the Owners money
Etc etc

That is no coincidence.

Anyway, going to skip it now until tomorrow. Not having those corrupt fuckers at Uefa bothering me on the most important day of the season so far. Time to get into match day mode.

Yes it's really weird

For 6 years the Daily Mail and the rest of the arse rags in this country have only talked about us in derogatory terms.

"Arab money", " moneybags City", ", " sugar daddy ", " noisey neighbours".

They have been the ones lobbying for some sort of control over our spending and painting us as some sort of villain whilst United and Pool and Arsenal are the shining saviours.

But now they have finally got what they have wanted for so long they all want to defend us? Maybe they are shitting it in case we cut back on the hospitality! They all seem to love it when we treat them like kings and let them stuff their faces with our food.

In the press this morning that PSG have 'done a deal' with UEFA which will be kept 'confidential'


this stinks...........

I was wondering how Platini was going to fuck us over and still manage to protect PSG. If does remain confidential and we have no way of knowing how our sanctions compare to theirs then surely we have to take legal action.

Can't see how it can remain confidential if other clubs in the same league can challenge any compromise. To do that they need to know what the compromise was in the first place. UEFA would need to be transparent here.

You'd thnink so wouldn't you but it is getting to the stage where nothing surprises me about what is going on. The way they have continually moved the goal posts, it's reached a point where you think maybe anything goes.

If it helps us get public opinion onside and thereby the FA and Premier League when dealing with UEFA I'll take the help quite gladly, still have absolute zero respect for them though, as I told Custis yesterday, people close to him should be worried about his health if he's talking sense (or something along those lines).
