City fined £35,000 for anti-doping admin error

Sorry, didn't read all articles, but did it say exactly 5 or at least 5, as in could be the whole squad if for example they decided to stay after a game for training in another city? Whatever is porr on someone's part because presumable you are told after the first time it happens, so do it again and then again a 3rd time - isn't that the definition of insanity, keep making the same mistakes...

I think it's at least 5 at any one occasion.

Difficult to see how more than 5 could be unavailable without the club knowing, assuming these are the senior squad mostly.

Nobody would find out if it was Utd - Mr Gill would sort it. Clubs with FA reps obviously have an advantage
That may be true, we don't know. But if there is any suspicion that we are subject to more scrutiny than other clubs due to "the agenda" or whatever then it makes this repeated mistake even more inexcusable. We know the media and indeed the authorities don't need much excuse to give us grief and all we've done is give them that excuse on a plate. Presumably it isn't something that is difficult to comply with, to fall foul of it three times is just ridiculous. Fingers crossed it's just a fine.

As it is now I need to go by the FA charge, as the club keeps in total silence on the subject. Probably up until the 19th. They might wonna work out their respons, but if they are completely in the right they should've responded by now I'd guess.
Similar the mention in the 'Gabriel Jesus' thread, it's all holistic, but very little transpiracy. And it saddens me to say this seems to be happening more and more. Still hope the FA is completely wrong to put their noses in it and strengthen the 'agenda'-topic ...

We need to appoint an ex fa executive preferably an ex fa chairman to a senior position at City. This person needs to have left the fa on not very good terms and have little love for that particular body.
This would have a couple of positives for us.

1 Some of the present Fa council may be a little less likely to be so negative if they thought someone might have a little dirt to dish out.

2 The ex fa person might be able to offer a deep insight into how we are viewed within the fa.

Although I don't like him, perhaps Greg dyke might be tempted for a £1mil a year.

We would save that on fa fines.
