City football shirts everywhere

One paragraph from the Evening Standard report on Oasis's first night at Wembley last night.

Earlier on Friday, a sea of bucket hats, Adidas merchandise and plenty of Manchester City football kits (both old and new) had swept down The Olympic Way, better known to many as Wembley Way
Looks like everyone has gone full kit wanker in London then!!

Wait until Oasis hit Buenos Aires in Argentina in November.

Pep's cardboard cut out and his City scarf, Sergio, the Poznan, and City shirts everywhere.

It's going to be fucking mental in the in the 85,000, River Plate stadium.
Met a few lads on the train to Wembley & they where telling me they’re over for that, tied it in with a River Plate game….wow!

Never been before but it's such a brilliant place for kids
We’ve been going a couple of times a year since it was called Oasis 20+ years ago, last Xmas was brilliant, but you can tell it’s up for sale, food quality & prices in the restaurants have gone a bit silly, only place you get vfm is in the pub, and they’re at that point where another round of investment is needed & facility upgrades. But like you say brilliant for the kids, Xmas is magical for the younger ones & the winter wonderland is great for families, which runs through the winter period not just Xmas/new year breaks

We didn't eat in the restaurants as it was close to Dubai prices so we took our own food, but everything else was great fun. Didn't know it was up for sale.

Headingley is Blue

I was rocking a Brother retro shirt and got talking to another Blue in the New Headingley Club. I walked round the corner to Otley Road and a Blue in a more recent vintage City away shirt was locking up his bike. I proceeded into Sainsbury's and a lovely young woman told me I was wearing a fantastic City shirt.

I'm currently in the middle of an attempt to watch a cricket match at all 18 First Class Counties this summer

I've just arrived in Canterbury to make it 13/18 (assuming it's not rained off tomorrow) and then Chelmsford on Wednesday for 14/18.

Anyway I've checked in and then walked straight into these two lads outside the cathedral
They can't speak a word of English but both nodded when I mentioned that George Weah scored for City when I last visited Kent.

New York is definitely blue.
There are even Blues here in Western New York state. I wore a #10 el Kun shirt to run errands on a lovely day a couple of months ago. At a local grocery store, a 19-year old stocker saw it and greeted me as a fellow Blue. I think we were both a bit stunned to discover that we weren't alone.
