FFS can you all calm down, it's blatantly obvious what ol' 'Arry is trying to do here:

He thinks he knows that Torres won't join us - so he says that we can win the league with Torres.
IF we don't sign Torres it implies that we're shit without him and no threat to his mighty Spuds.
IF we sign Torres it implies we're somehow favourites to win the title so he thinks it puts pressure on us.

He's just playing mind-games - I'm sure he knows fuck all...

Hmmm, I think the cryptic thing gets people talking about you more on the forums, and therefore gets people thinking "who is this guy?"

But, I am fairly new to BM and dont quiet understand the history

I do suppose the only real reason for people having patience with this particular way, is based on previous and clearly spelt out info, which may have been borne out?

The cryptic postings are ambiguous and erroneous enough for me to feel a little more comfortable, that I am not compromising anybody.

They are always in good faith, and in 'my shoes', the best foot forward.

I'm just lucky enough to have one or two contacts.

The fact the clues can interpreted in a variety of ways, contributes for frustration and no little humour, but also tries to infer.

Some people are correct when they say, 'I am right, all ends up'

That does not concern me, I have my own sincere motives for trying to get info out.

As for torres? Pretty common knowledge behind the scenes now about the bid that went in last week, 47m plus player/s...... Be interesting to what billy spears has to say on the subject, or has stevie made you sign a confidentiality agreement (in jest billy)

I listened to the interview this morning, and he was discussing how tough the league was going to be next season. He mentioned us being in for Torres, then mentioned how good Everton were going to be. Its quite possible that he was putting out a message to cover his back if Spurs dont make the champions league. No... read the post again. I started by talking about the people who right off everything the British papers say, then beleive anything that is translated from a forigen newspaper.

Then I went on to say that these are the same people who say "what would Harry know" (Veteran Premiership Manager, with many fingers in many agents pockets), when they believe anything that a guy on the internet tells them.

Is their not something slightly idiotic about that? Its like not listening to a doctor, but going on a forum to diagnose an illness!

Just had a look on rawk Torres thread and these harry quotes are on there, wow they really don't see how Torres would entertain us, it's quite eye opening their opinion of us.

I've just followed that up and had a look on there, I'm not sure whether your an attention seeker or a compulsive liar. Here's what has been said about us on RAWK,

Harry the brow bag is using Man City to try and get more money from his chairman it seems.

Torres wont and isnt going to City and he knows that.

Judging by his comments Harry seems as speculative as we all are and to me, mentioned it off the cuff. I'd imagine he's throwing a sly mention to get more transfers in for Spurs because City will be buying more and more this summer, no doubt about that.

You're missing the point, it's the opinions they have that nando wouldn't entertain us, rather they are saying Harry is using what he said to gain more money for his own transfer dealings!

To be fair I don't think Torres is going to tell a young lad that he would be leaving the club because it would cause an uproar from the Liverpool fans.

Right, I'm not saying he won't join us.

Just saying that their fans have good reason to think he wouldn't entertain us.
