There is a City store in Marina Mall? I must be going blind as ive never seen one.
Upstairs between Paris Gallery and the cinema

Yeah, first floor hidden in the top left corner to the right of the food court, I think. I was there three weeks ago to get my lad's birthday presents.

Anyway, FFS! Didn't know they were there and Al Ain now sold out. Just finished my last meeting in Dubai and so no chance of getting there in time. Damn it!

To answer other questions.

7 hours non-stop Manchester to Abu Dhabi [twice a day I think now] on a Beoing 777. Biz class is top notch with cloth napkins and the full shabang, although the upstairs bar on the Emirates Airbus cannot be beat [soz Your Highness].

Are they staying on Yas Island? Or Al Reem?

Yes, Abu Dhabi is amazing but a bit quiet compared to Dubai, and the AD-ers are the worst drivers. Also just about the highest number of Rolls Royces and so on anywhere on the planet. The money is beyond your or my imagination. It is indeed the promised land, but you have to be seriously wealthy to enjoy it fully, as with most places in 21st century.

As for Expo, it is mostly going to be based in Jebel Ali about a third of the way to Ad from Dubai, so it will be a shared experience.

Anyway, all pics and info much appreciated. Pleas let me know if they are, by any chance, popping in to Dubai. Cheers.

Now still 30 degrees and 60% humidity and 6pm in Dubai so I think they might enjoy it. I always say it takes 48 hours to get over the jet lag and fatigue when you get here so I'd give the lads a chance!

I want to move to Abu Dhabi, looks amazing.

That view is called "the sea". If you turn around you get a different view: sand. Lots and lots of sand. Lots.

Is that Showsec Massive doing a summer tour ??????????

Just to clarify some points raised concerning the flight over to Abu Dhabi.

The MCFC party was flown from Manchester Airport to Abu Dhabi aboard an Etihad Airbus A330-300 aircraft [A6-AFF] which was specially chartered for the occasion. Etihad Airways does operate a twice daily scheduled service on the route, but the exclusive MCFC charter operated in addition to these and was timed to meet the travel needs of the club.

In answer to the question asking why the Manchester City FC liveried aircraft was not used for the trip … Airbus A330-200 [A6-EYE] "Bluemoon Rising" is configured with Business Class and Economy Class layout only. It does not have a First Class section. The aircraft which was used [A6-AFF] has a large First Class cabin … I wonder who got the best seats?!!! Obviously, Abu Dhabi wants to provide the best possible travel experience for the double-winning MCFC squad.

Whenever City have made high profile trips to Abu Dhabi, a First Class equipped aircraft has been provided. For that reason, it is also highly unlikely that A6-EYE "Bluemoon Rising" will fly them home at the end of the trip either.

Just to add … my personal congratulations to all at MCFC on a fantastic season!
