City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

His articles should come with a sanity warning.
Just remember this, the views of Miguel Delaney (or Delooney) are not necessarily the views of a sane person.

In the words of Groucho Marx, "He may look like an idiot and talk like an idiot but don't let that fool you, he really is an idiot"

Came across this experiment. It’s called the werewolf game. Created by a Russian 1986.

The Werewolves win if they achieve parity, or an equal number of remaining Werewolves and Villagers. The Villagers win if they are able to kill all of the Werewolves.

Dimitry Davidoff wanted to show that an informed minority (the werewolves/city fans) when pitted against an uninformed majority (the villagers/cartel/media) will usually win.

The game has two alternating phases: first, a night-phase, during which those with night-killing-powers may covertly kill other players, and second, a day-phase, in which all surviving players debate and vote to eliminate a suspect. The game continues until a faction achieves its win-condition; for the village, this usually means eliminating the evil minority, while for the minority, this usually means reaching numerical parity with the village and eliminating any rival evil groups.

115 is the end game.
Username checks out.

He is like a completely different person when he is on 5live. Pure click bait bollocks for the red masses.

Bit like saying if you were born in America during slavery you knew what you were signing up for and had no right to question whether it was right to keep people as slaves
More like emigrating to the States in the 1860s and accepting the Constitution then finding yourself in a civil war.

Amongst some of the more stupid comments. But in no way all of them.
Delaney seems unaware that Sheikh Mansour bought the club in 2008 - 13 years before the APT rules were introduced, and even befre the FFP regulations were introduced. It was also before FSG "acquired" Liverpool but FSG showed no reluctance to express their dissatisfaction with the PL's rules (and the PL was largely positive about developments at City then) and press for rules to tie City in knots. Now we're seeing that they have tied the PL and its lawyers up trying to defend regulations whic are clearly unlawful and which may land Liverpool (among other clubs) with an enormous bill arising out of interest free or very low interest loans, under RPT rules they themselves pushed for, which are unlawful. Have a good day, Mr Delaney.

He is. You should see the positive newspaper stories City get from outside of the UK.

As mentioned, it's all about money. The older you get in life you start to realise everything in this modern world is driven by money and money alone.

There's only 4 Champion's League spots. There's 5 other teams excluding City that think they deserve that place on history alone.

They've got friends in the media to deliver a concerted campaign against the club and got the Premier League to charge us with false accounting just so they can have 1 of those Champions League places back.
If the PL made it easier for clubs competing in Europe we'd have 5 places in the CL.

I find he has some genuine concerns about where football is heading, and I can agree with some of them, but on social media he seems to deliberately get hold of the wrong end of the stick, the simplistic, populist end which does him no favours at all.

After an iffy start to that season we’d been on a superb run whuch started (iirc) with our first away win in over a year at Bradford. Then we scored 16 goals in two games in November. We also beat a great Forest team 3-0 in the League Cup as part of that run.

The Palace game marked the end of that run and we spluttered for the rest of the season.

Was in the Kippax and it was certainly limbs for Lake’s goal, and like everyone else I was incandescent with the sending off in the heat of the moment, but upon further (and more mature) reflection Nixon was rope-a-doped into that dismissal.

Those six or so weeks up to Palace scoring are still among my favourites as a City fan. The bulk of that team was about the same age as me and after half a decade of being pretty shit it felt like a new exciting chapter as a Blue.

And sorry to piss on your chips but I actually don’t mind Wright, and I sat next to Mark Bright (and Michelle Gayle) once at a wedding reception in 2005 and he was great company. Didn’t mention that game though!
You’ve swamped my chips with piss . Remember him scoring a late winner for Arsenal at Maine road and goading the fans . Hate his false patriotism as well , he is full of shite
