City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

We took action because of the 2 additions.
Mere semantics - but definitely a City win.
City went into the hearing to argue their case as did the PL who could have accepted that City had a case and agreed to changes. They didn't and tried to defend all elements of APT and the hearing summed up their decision with words, illegal, unfair, unlawful, procedurally unfair. You judge who has the legal and moral high ground. Apparently the BBC are struggling understanding that concept.

We should raise a vote of no confidence in Masters. Ask the other clubs if they’re happy for him to keep spending their money on ridiculous legal fees for cases they keep losing because they don’t know their own rules and keep trying to bring in illegal ones

I think the redshirts might be instrumental in bringing about his demise.

He has done their bidding but failed spectacularly.

A total humiliation ensuing would be poetic justice

The other clubs wont be happy when they hear that, as well as the huge legal bills, they will now have to pick up the tab when City sues for compo over the two blocked sponsorship deals. I wouldn't be surprised if Masters does get booted out.

Everybody should bookmark SCB's post. An out of court settlement with us agreeing not to sue over APT. Whilst admitting guilt over non compliance. PL then declare it as a win, we take a fine.

Seems unlikely IMO . Let’s say the new Etihad deal (is the EAG sponsorship our main one with Etihad?) was worth an extra £20m a year than our current deal and the other 2 were worth £10m combined.

We’re out of pocket £60m.

The PL is already spending half that on the 115 case. They’re not going to sweep that under the carpet for the sake of the money we could get back for this.

Not to mention why would the multibillionaires in charge of the other clubs allow that? The amount they stand to gain from us losing the 115 case is way way more than they’d lose out on because we scored a big payday from the league.

I don’t think the PL can afford to make that deal.
