City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

View attachment 138605

Hey hey.
I knew fuckface would be putting his 10 pence worth of shit in.
It’s surely the law’s dispute with PL ‘unlawful’ rules. City are only the messenger who raised the issue, although there is a common misconception amongst the great ill- informed that City somehow have created this scenario solely for their own benefit and everyone else will suffer somehow.

I'm interested by Stefan's tweet to the effect that Everton and Wolves will support PL "revised" regulations because their financial interests dictate that they do not want any interest to(fair value or not) applying to loans they have from their owners. Maybe, almost certainly probably - but does this not raise questions for Spurs? They covered the cost of their magnificent new stadium through loans raised at market value, did they not? Are we sure they wish to spare clubs, among which are numbered their bitterest rivals Arsenal, any interest payments at all on loans from their owners? And the rags, who I believe have only raised one loan (at 8% pa) and only pay out to their owners, are really prepared to vote to make sure their bitterest rivals (! _Liverpool!!!) do not have to pay any interest at all on their considerable sweetheart loans along with other top half rivals! Maybe voting is more complicated than we think.

It has only ever been assessed under the old APT rules. The Amended rules came in after City applied for approval.
Could this be why City appear to be claiming that all of APT is invalid, so that the deal would pass under the old RPT rules?
