City launch legal action against the Premier League

Stopping city only really benefits the clubs going for champ league
So why would other clubs vote for financial restrictions knowing it’s their only hope.
Unless the hateful 8 were canvassing the other clubs
My theory, for what it’s worth, is there are a number of mid table clubs whose owners are happy just to remain in the PL, reaping the benefits with the odd cup run, and don’t want other clubs with ambition to threaten their status which the lifting of financial restrictions could well do if a clubs owners are ambitious enough. Just a theory mind.

What do you mean 'unless'? It's a stone cold certainty!

More bullshit being printed.

The amount of negative stories over the last 24 hours is unreal.

The latest take.

Clubs are losing their shit apparently. Hmmm.

The last sentence is a cracker.

“We might as well walk away…..

That’s Herbert and Holt in the Mail.
The bloke who did the first story and Slot from the Times.
Delooney in the Independent (obviously).
Northgate in whatever he writes in.
Barney Rubble in the Grauniad. No doubt others I’ve not seen.
Harris, Panja and Red Twat on Twatter.

Every single one of them is completely misrepresenting this story, which really cannot be a coincidence…..

So - is it true that united are supporting City in this action ?
The Daily Mail reports that Manchester City, Newcastle, Chelsea, Everton, Nottingham Forest and Sheffield United voted against the Premier League in a recent shareholders' meeting. Crystal Palace and Burnley reportedly abstained.

that was from the initial vote in Feb, but not offically confirmed anywhere i can find.

was just wondering why city took president with the legal action, we had our foot in the door many years back and prevented it from closing on us however its a different story for Newcastle United who are shackled under current rules, we would probably be fine without the rules changing from what they are today and most likely continue our dominance however the likes of Newcastle and villa dont have a clear future

So far today:

City have destroyed the premier league.

City have destroyed the lower leagues from getting a financial deal.

City have destroyed Arsenal again.

City made standard charter sponsor terrorists.

City made a only fans pornstar throw milk at Nigel.

City got Gail platt sacked from coronation street.

City have…

On a serious note, the level of vitriol from the media is horrendous. No amount of in-house PR team could cope with the level of lies and accusations thrown at us. No way of stopping this new online phenomenon. Some day a thesis will be written on this topic.
Shit has Gail Platt gone from Corrie.

Listen if City want to hire me as a spokesman that is one thing. If I am giving a good faith opinion (with caveats) I will say what I want to say. Cheers
You do a Stirling job mate whenever I’ve heard you. And I respect your honesty, even when (maybe especially when) you’re saying something I don’t particularly want to be true.
You keep going mate, there’s enough shit being thrown our way without blues turning on you as well.
And I’d rather, much much rather, have an honest blue giving an honest (and professional) opinion than some of these utter no-mark, “I’ve got a social media presence to protect and fuck City if it gets me a few more followers” wankers I’ve seen on Twitter these last 24 hours.
When all this is sorted and we have won they’ll be all over Twitter showing off their “top top Blue” credentials again. But some of us won’t forget.

You keep being true to yourself mate, you’re fighting our corner with honesty and integrity and that’s good enough for me and thousands of other City fans.
