You're conflating offence with harm. They took the mickey (apologies if any of our Irish brethren are offended by that) by stereotyping the way some people talk. Harmless. On the joke thread, check out the my cocaine gag. Very funny because it taps into the way we perceive Chinese people speak English. And it's only funny because it works. Nah, it was initially flagged up by a City blogger who wrote a piece about it. Spread round City Twitter quite fast after that.

Yeah I know a white couple who also have a wicked of humour, nothing is off limits even piss taking about "spooks", "gammons", " honkies", they don't give a fuck and laugh at the white supremacists.

You’ve misread it, they are a lovely couple who experience nothing but friendship in the community they live in. Lots of banter but no nastiness at all, there’s a whole world of difference between words that are meant as a laugh to those that can incite violence and prejudice.
