I’d welcome the media slating the club about this. But they won’t because it’s not to do with some human rights abuses in the Middle East that has absolutely nothing to do with anyone who has a stake in or works for the club.
 
New to the party here. My wallet is showing Southampton. What do I do to get my ticket? And help gratefully received!

If/when the attendance is abysmal tomorrow the media won’t criticise the fundamental failures of communications and infrastructure at the club. They’ll punch downwards and take the piss out of the fanbase.

It gets more clicks than addressing the real issue.
 
Question.

Still not got the ticket. Was told yesterday payment would be taken on Monday. Ticket will be sent on Tuesday. If the ticket ever arrives, will it be sent automatically to my Google Wallet on my mobile and show, or will I have to download it from an email or from my City account? My season ticket is the only ticket in my Google Wallet ATM. Thanks.

Is it Apple Wallet? If so:

Click the three black dots at the top right of the screen
Unselect the green button for Automatic Updates
Then select it again

Should work, has for me each game.

City should come out and apologise about this, today. Openly, on the main website, or even on North West Tonight (not hidden away on some Twitter account half of us don’t ever see).

Get in early to highlight their own ineptness and save the fanbase the embarrassment as (as you say) we are the ones who will get hammered for it from other fanbases.

Be interesting to see if we can use this as a barometer for how much the top brass at City are arsed about us peasants. If they come out and say something about it, at least it’ll mean they are acknowledging the issue; whereas, if they do their usual wall-of-silence, should we guess they aren’t arsed?
