I always thought Chris Greenacre was going to come good but never really happened for him at City. Or in fact full stop. Not at the top level anyway

The two who never came close to fulfilling their potential once they left City (so no big loss I guess) for me are Paul Stewart and Stevie Redmond.

Even now I'll tell a Liverpool mate just how awesome Stewart was for us and he refuses to believe it. But that lad had everything at one point.

What happened to Redmond remains a total mystery to me. He was, at times, imperious at the back for us. Fantastic timing, composure personified, and with enough ability to come out with the ball.
But once we got rid his career spiralled down through the leagues.

Gary Mason is a good shout. Against Notts County in the 7-1 game he ran the show.

Lee Croft, BWP, Willo Flood, Terry Dunfield, Nick Fenton, Chris Greenachre, Nicky Weaver, Onuoha (Although there's still time) all never really achieved what we all thought they would.

And neither will Daniel Sturridge, mark my words.
