Used to be sport's bar at Haymarket near Trafalgar Square, failing that Irish bar Philomena's convent garden

Staying in the same Covent Garden pub we got to at 2.30

The Globe at Baker St is always rammed on match day yet 5 mins from there or Marylebone (it's inbetween the 2) is a pub called the Allsop, tucked away.

There was a London city pub at Farringdon some years ago , the sports bar at Victoria is a place where Blues congregate on match days , I go in a Fulham /Chelsea pub in Putney , excellent football pub ! All the fans put up with me ranting by myself !!
And the beer has just gone up to £3 a pint !! And it’s not a spoons !!
Most of the other fans respect City as a top team ‘ I mutually respect them , so we all get on !

Fond memories of The Blue Anchor off Chancery Lane as well. The 2012 QPR game in there was off the scale.
