but the FA remain adamant .......

there doesn't appear to be any reason , other than for the greed of the FA , that this City/United game couldn't have been held at Villa Park , St James Park ... or if they aren't big enough , possibly the Emirates ... or even some kind of deal with the welsh FA to use the Millenium Stadium for a day ?

........ and Stoke v Bolton could easily have played at Old Trafford.

How many people really want to watch a semi-final at Wembley ?

As Fergie rightly says , it devalues the big Final occasion.

Being a born and bred Manc, i have a lot of Red pals (including 2 great lads here in Atlanta who are both Salford lads!) and the majority are great (i have to say though its the older ones like me!) and they are just like us, proper footie fans and despite all the piss takes, generally want to see us do well...................although i cant say i ever want to say the same about them :-)........ no doubt its the 'bitter' jealousy' thing :-)

Not treating this like a cup final as it isn't one.

Will go as its a historic game in its own way but seriously resent being ripped off by the FA like this. Moneygrubbing london-centric twats.

He has 10 coaches going from the Bishops (only 8 full at the moment) ..... and they are all departing at 6:30am in convoy .......

On the 8.55 down, then coming back Sunday afternoon after a few beers in the Wellington, near the Strand.
Came home with a train full of rags last season after the Carling Cup final, we had been down for the Chelsea match. They started singing 34 years so we started singing we still here, to be fair it was friendly banter. Not saying that would happen every time though.
