This would be immense. Let's see them get out of that one, Umbro are not some AD company with numerous links to the Sheik, they're an English company well established for decades in the market and now owned by the American world market leader. Not a thing the powers that be could do, or even question.

If this is true, then the FPR is unworkable. You could fit a juggernaut through a loophole like that. It will turn out the same way the 25 man rule - in other words lip service hyped up by the media to something it is not or cannot be. Twattini is thick. We are easily going to be the second biggest club financially in the PL, bigger than Chelsea & Arsenal. Only the rags near £100m matchday revenue keeps them in first place.

I love it every time another team signs a new 'record' deal - Liverpool with their kit deal, United with DHL or whatever it may be as it gives City the chance to elevate their income yet again.

Now I know that most clubs dont have top dollar deals across every aspect of partnership/sponsorship but City can and will have.

I have also been told by a couple of people that once the Etihad Campus is up and running and if City win the PL or CL then the Etihad deal could be worth more than £60m p.a.

I will be writing some more stuff on it on my blog soon BTW ;-)
