Thought Uwe, Paul Walsh, Curle and a few others were all better players in that era for City. Just that none of them had those individual moments of brilliant dribbling that Kinky had but that’s almost all he had.

Absolutely loved him and still do. He was the only hope we had and the only thing to cling onto in the darkest of dark days. He’s a genuine City legend.

He had undoubted quality but nowhere near our top 5 greatest players,that’s doing our elite world class players of the last decade or so such a disservice, kinky would struggle to get in our top 30 all time greats
