If that thread on Sad Cafe is anything to go by, they still don't get it. I do wonder at what point they're going to wake up and realise that it isn't 2008 anymore.
The only thing they have left to cling onto is the myth of our empty stadium. I remember when the roles were reversed and all I had was the OOT shit to throw at them. They're gonna be left with fuck all soon and it's gonna be beautiful!

I was saying his last week, the way it's all reversed is just perfect and something I never thought I'd see in my lifetime. The speed in which it's happened is just the icing on the cake.

Not in your lifetime, Pige?

well I've just had a look at sad café and they aren't taking the news too well! They seem to forget that this is a long term project, not all games will sell out yet , but even if we fit in 5000 more per game, that's a lot more money to go towards ffp that the former elite clubs have used to try to slow us up. More and more young kids can be seen wearing city shirts all over the country, they are the ones that will be filling the stadium in the future. One plonker wrote that city have the money united have the class!

Attendance timeline as I remember it.

Rough averages over time at Maine Road and the Etihad

24,000>28,000>32,000>44,000>47,000>?(after the stadium expansion)

As you can see, it's been going up and up for years. Now it's about to hit a new high,

Even if we average 54,000 in the future, that's 30,000 up on the average of 24,000, which sticks in my mind.

We always had a hardcore of 24,000, all them years ago.(80's/90's)

Them daft c***t's across town just don't get it, do they? As other's have stated, they've got nothing else to throw at us anymore.

Just so that we all know to watch out for it the club will have an announcement on the OS tomorrow.

Do we know what time the announcement is likely to be tomorrow?

As well as the plastics over at the Caf having their say, have a look at some of the comments on Sky Sports' site :)
