Aw, does everyone remember August 2011? And do you remember how terrible we were at Wembley in the Community Shield? Aw, that was such a fun time, wasn't it? When we all thought Tom Cleverley was a fantastic midfielder and that David De Gea was a terrible goalkeeper? Do you remember that time? Aw, wasn't it wonderful.

And then do you remember when we went 15 games unbeaten at the start of the season? And how we won the league. Do you remember that, guys? Aw, that was a time I wish I could return to.

Spot on

I am amused some what by the number of comments about us looking poor at the back. Wonder how many are coming from Mancini outers because one thing I for sure under rm we were fantastic defensively and he improved virtually every player in terms of that side of the game.

I know its only a friendly but those that think were suddenly going to get loads better for our first game are wide of the mark. It was a friendly for Arsenal too dont forget and they battered us today fairly easily. Very disappointing display today.

Having had the best defnce in the prem last season there is some work to be done.
Barry may be the slowest on the pitch now but FFS his brain is one of the fastest.
City would do well to keep him for many prem. Matches
Left side of defence is a worry .For me Lescott is not working well and Boyata would be better until Nasty is back.
Get Willian too we will need another tricky player cos a lot of prem teams will park the bus against us and it'll be hard to open teams up despite Navas ' s speed down the line.
AGuero is crucial for a good start too

And what did that win us again?
Second in the league actually but then again you may be spoilt.

Brilliant! I'd happily have the best defense in the world then if it means us winning second place but then again I'm spoilt right?

Haha!

Celtic 1-0 v Liverpool. Wonder if RAWK will meltdown like here. Jesus Christ, some people here I worry about. Take their laces off them ffs.

Gelling starters has been worthwhile but been our problem. That's what I put our disjointed effort today down to. Arsenal used a squad that they've had together, no new players to blood in like we have. Chill out and take it easy, a CB is needed but we knew that already and it's expected following Kolo's departure, I actually rue us selling him as his pace would have been to Pellegrini's likikg.

The thing is, lets say this was a real match and it was in January, it's quite conceivable that we could turn up the next week and be brilliant. So why, from this not real match, can we not come out and be brilliant in 9 days time?

Doesn't take much for them to go into meltdown really...
