Nasty tackle that from yaya on giroud

That is a horrible challenge and definitely should have seen a red card.

All I can say is that equally Giroud has gone in studs up off the ground too and missed the ball, if he had made contact with Yaya then that is a red too, not that it is excusing something quite naughty.

Yaya was going for the ball. Giroud set himself up.

Don't think that was deliberate, Yaya was trying to get his foot between the ball and Giroud. Possible yellow but not a red to me.
