City v Arsenal post match thread

Hart's hands are made out of poppadoms it seems.
I don't even think that is the problem. Most goalies have a weakness going down and to their weak hand. He's still, for the most part, an excellent shot stopper.

The issue is that his distribution is a nightmare, he can't pass, and hoofs the ball out of play half the time. We lose possession every time it's kicked back to him.

I think he's on self destruct mode. He knows that Pep wants his keeper to retain possession and distribute it out from the back but oh no, Joe fucking twats it upfield nearly every time, losing possession straight away.
I noticed the first few minutes he came on he tried to play it out and then after 10 minutes he just thought fuck it and started launching it again

Joe Hart is always one of the first to go over to our fans and applaud them so why did Guardiola seem to pick him out of all the players to start pushing him over to our fans? What the heck was Hamman on about with 'body language' remark as well?

Joe Hart was not the worst player on that pitch today and why he has suddenly become the 'boo' boy is beyond me. He wasn't the worst player at the Euros either so I just wish people would get off his back. (JMHO)

i think on here thats the case ( hart the boo boy) in the ground i dont think so. anyone who does try and defend him is a called a fanboy swell haha

free shot from a player with enough time to take not one but two touches to set himself.........awful wide open defence, a keeper may get to those once in a while and save them but more times than not they go in regardless. .....watch the training videos from the last week and see how many go in when the players have no defenders in front of them....just like in todays match which is absolutely criminal
Hart low on his left side is a huge liability and it has been his whole career

why hasnt sagna been given a go at cb? he can play there and can play the ball? a much better option than Kolarov?

He'd be my first choice at CB at the moment but he has only just returned to training though I think. The worrying thing was playing Kolarov and Fernando, 2 of our slowest players, at CB.

I thought we looked very disjointed and our passing and movement was well below par. Delph runs around a lot but doesn't do much on the ball and Streling and Nolito, despite odd moments, didn't do a great deal.

Only a friendly though and plenty of work to be done before next week. Hopefully we'll look a bit sharper by then.

He was comfortably the worst player on the pitch.
