City v Arsenal Post Match

Really surprised how many times we gave the ball away today and Arsenal made us pay. Lets face it they were excellent and we were very poor.

I really hope that 35milion Mangala deal doesn't back fire. I've been really thinking about that deal and i just don't know why we didn't spend that money on a proper winger. We could have done with Vinny, DM, Sagna, Boyata and either one of Denayer / Rekik.

Money could have been spent on Fabregas or Sanchez

I dont care if i get called a rag, Mangala isn't a 35M CB...no way. He isn't as good as Varane, Laporte or Marquinhos. He was also playing in a shit league.

It s obvious that it s a wrong transfer...35m and he was on the bench same story with Dinho ...30something m and he was subtituded by Lampard

Wtf are you talking about!????? Fernandino is a fantastic player.

Milner was equally as poor.

Milner was filling in at left wing!!!
Filling in? He usually plays at left wing under MP

That only started this season. Milner was brilliant in the second half of last season when MP started Milner on the left ahead of Navas. I don't know why MP feels the need to force Navas into the first team.

Oh well onwards and upwards long way to go yet and i know letting chelski in front again is not the best we are still an awesome team. Take it as it is today we can't win everything thats what being a blue is all about but i have know doubt i will get some ribbing from the arsewank fans tomorrow. Still better than the other so called team in Manchester oh wait there is only one and that is us!

I understand players have bad games so that isn't fair really and Dinho is decent. I can get away with him costing that much but Mangala was a bad buy. I said it at the same time and nothing has changed my mind. He is young but CB is a position where if you don't show traits that you can defend early on..there is no way you will get much better later on. How many defenders started out shaky and ended up amazing? Bar the Chelsea performance I haven't seen anything from Mangala that screams 'amazing'. How many performances has Varane given in a RM shirt that has been raved about? Mangala isn't that close to being on that level. Even with Luiz who gets hated on, he is at least good on the ball and he can start attacks. Mangala isn't good defensively or even with the ball at his feet.

I dont know who wanted him, but it was a bad buy. Chambers from Soton would have even been adequete.

Really surprised by some of the comments today. I thought we were much better than them today, but we lost. Shit happens, Play that 10 times and we'd win 7 or 8 of them.

They defended well, but created little. By and large, we controlled the game.

Tosh, Fernandinho was a brilliant buy, I do question Fernando and Mangala though, maybe in time they'll get up to speed with our league, one we'll have to wait and see about.
