Today we got outwitted by Wenger.
18 corners should create a few chances but our failure to vary them made it so easy for their defence to cope. Not a single short corner!
Regroup and move on.

we didnt get outwitted at all........with the injuries and absennces we had their game plan was simple.....stop silva getting the ball....thats hardly genius tactics.

they cheated for the first goal and after that we were always going to be vulnerable and yet it took a set piece and a lapse of concentration by fernando for them to get a second

stop believing the media hype - we werent very good today but arsenal were bang average as well
Who's listening to the media hype?
We were outwitted by virtue of the fact we played into their game plan.
We had no answer to them parking the bus.

with the players we had missing plus fitness issues with Kun I dont think we had much option......we should of played jovetic fromt he start in milners place but if navas had been so wasteful on numerous occasions it could have been different.....they hardly created anything unti we opened up and took fernandihnio off......they parked a bus.....that isnt outwitting anything...thats just copying what every other team do that comes to our place (baring some of the top euro teams)

Fernando and Fernandino can play a cautious game together, but not when we need to play attacking football ,the only time they've played well was at Roma and many were like oh we can play without Toure, now you know how much he is imp

Who you calling an imp ?

Should we play it safe on Saturday and keep our hopes alive or do we throw caution to the wind and go all out. On one hand we could play for a draw and keep our title hopes alive , on the other hand we could do what Arsenal did here today and regain the momentum. It would be fun to see Mou crack under pressure.

If i can also. Seems since pellgrini came start seeing teams getting points at the etihad something didn't happened since 2011-2012 except united sunderland and arsenal draw

How many corners did we have? 13? Not one was anywhere threatening!

And why why why did it have to be us that the arses beat. They have a poor win record against top teams in the league for such a long time and it had to be us that break their jinx. Fucking hate them

Poor first half, lot better second but without any real threat to goal, sometimes you just have to take it on the chin and move on,but have to say at times we reminded me of arsenal pretty touches round and about the box without any end product....

Set pieces/corners can easily be the weapon that Mourinho will use to kill us. With Fabregas crossing skills, and Cahill, Terry, Costa etc. arriving while Fernando/Fernandinho will mark them like we did Giroud, Naismith it can be really ugly...
Not mentioning easily given away faults around the box for these crosses which is a bit of specialty at City..

I really hope that 35milion Mangala deal doesn't back fire. I've been really thinking about that deal and i just don't know why we didn't spend that money on a proper winger. We could have done with Vinny, DM, Sagna, Boyata and either one of Denayer / Rekik.

Money could have been spent on Fabregas or Sanchez

I dont care if i get called a rag, Mangala isn't a 35M CB...no way. He isn't as good as Varane, Laporte or Marquinhos. He was also playing in a shit league.

It s obvious that it s a wrong transfer...35m and he was on the bench same story with Dinho ...30something m and he was subtituded by Lampard
