City v Arsenal Post Match

While we were far from our best today and a lot of our play was 'powderpuff'......I actually don't think we were anywhere close to being as bad as some are portraying. We had plenty of possession and controlled much of the game, without key players and with none matchfit others.
The ref needs a mention as I thought he was poor, that was not a penalty and the decision was pivotal. The second goal was a joke,no excuses.

Our main problem was not a new one.....we just couldn't find the end product. And have we actually played the same eleven in succession yet?

So that s it, expecting it. MP did it again. You can call me a mug, glory fan or whatever you want, he is not proper for a big team. We could have won this game if he had just managed to put the right team into the field. He does it in every important game.. For God sake, when are we going to have a proper, fearless coach who can actually manage big games? It makes me miss Mark Hughes..

Have the rags won a game ?

Just got in more than worse for wear, only flicked through the thread and I think some on here need to give their fannys a wipe, thank fuck some of you weren't around for most of the 80s n 90s, fuckin pussys

Having been 8 points behind in November & with no strikers for a number of games, I'd have taken being 5 points behind at this stage. Felt all week we'd lose this one but manner of defeat was admittedly disappointing. Just needed a break today, plenty of passes and crosses into the box but ball didn't fall our way. And credit to Arsenal, their game plan worked.

Be interesting to see how the Chelsea game pans out - I'd be happy with a point but could be argued that Chelsea wouldn't be too unhappy with that either. Get Sergio back to full fitness and sharpness, Yaya and Bony to return, and we go again.

Gave the ball to them about 100 times and I'm really getting really tired of Navas getting into a good position only to have no clue what to do next apart from smack a ball to them!
Well, it s not his fault. We knew what we were buying.. He is an excelent player on counter-attack when is 1,2-0. He is not a first 11 player.. Never!

Don't think we have, though that has been the norm since the season started, with World Cup returnees given extra recovery time.

Two titles in his first season, second in the league this season, manager of the month December... What more do you want?
I don t want titles, I don t want glory.. My team Rapid Bucharest were in the second league last year and this year they are the last ones, will relegate again.. I want respect for the fans and good games. I want to enjoy watching City as an alternative to our shit romanian football. I love the game, I love football, I love City for more than 10 years now... I miss players like Dunne, as weak as he was(is)...

think about this for a moment, when spain were dominating the international scene, navas used to get in their squad and sometimes start........how the fuck did that happen?

Mightily pissed off with the result, you have to say the tarquins probably deserved the points, but that was as much down to our abject performance as them playing well.
To be honest though we've not really played well in weeks and have got away with it for the most part.
All that said when you consider that Arsenal had 23 shots against the Rags (9 on target) only scored one, had all the possession and got beat - today they had only 7 shots, with 3 on target, one of which was the penalty... pisses me off even more!
Our defence needs sorting... we rip the piss out of the scum, but painful truth is our boys are underperforming for whatever reason this year. MP needs to sort it out a.s.a.p.
