I think we do, but they flipping' stop on the edge of the box!

There appears to be an invisible forcefield 3 yards outside the penalty box at the South Stand. Any player running with the ball hits this force field and grinds to an immediate halt.

I understand that often, you want to wait for reinforcements to arrive, but sometimes, you just have to accept 'you're the man' and keep running. Once you get into that box, defenders make mistakes. Penalties are given. Or, sometimes, you actually find you've gotten through them with just the keeper to beat.

Or you can just wait for the opposition defenders to stand and watch you politely as you await the welcome arrival of your strike force.

Gotten? Gotten???

As above

Agree with the tactical analysis ... but 'gotten' ,,, FFS is this an episode of 'The Waltons' ??

Just knowing what 'The Waltons' is makes you an old git too!

This Yaya that (almost) everyone says we're misssing - is he same Yaya that's a lazy **** who won't track back to help in defence and is only interested in his birthday cake?

The first 3 letters of your user name sum you up!

When I learned that Samir had picked up an injury in training I feared the worst. David is a Magician but he cannot create chances on his own, he needs some support and he only really got that in the second half when Jovetic replaced Milner who had a quiet game by his standards.

That damned African Nations Cup exposed our midfield fragility again especially when we get injuries.

Our passing was atrocious at times and Martin was one of the bigger culprits with some terrible passes leaving our defence exposed.

The commentator mentioned that Navas needed to get more height on his crosses - who the hell was there to get a head to high crosses - not Kun or David, they are midgets.

As for our defending at set pieces, my grandsons school team have more success at clearing the ball.

Arsenal were by far the better team on the day, even though Sanchez was kept under control. They wanted the ball and got all the rickashays because of their appetite.

Very disappointed but I'm sure that Pelligrini will sort it out before the next EPL game.

Just realised we have conceded more than United in the league.

Not a good sign considering the shambles they have had defensively this season.

Two titles in his first season, second in the league this season, manager of the month December... What more do you want?
That's why we lost - the curse of winning Manager of the Month strikes again

Obvious issue is we need a top notch CDM or Yaya backup. Nando has been solid in a few games but he's simply not performing to the standard of a top team and because of that Fernandinho can't safely push ahead when Yaya is not there.

Need someone like Matic who's saved Chelsea's rear at several occasions this half season.

This in my opinion is is the most important position for us.
