City v Arsenal Post Match

Can someone explain to me our corners. It's actually amazing at how bad a professional football team who is challenging for the title are at them. We had at least 12+ and I'm pretty sure only one was a head at goal (Kompany towards the end). Is it just a forgotten concept in Pellegrini's plan?! Does the concept of being one point of a 90 degree angle within a large pitch scare Navas and Silva?! I need answers because we may as well give the other team a goal kick, at least that way we can't get caught on the counter.

Also, Navas was woeful today.

Upwards and onwards for a big game against Chelsea!

best team won!

BUT wrong team selection from the off! Jovici should have started!
,Navas why does he Always need two touches!
Kompany forget the pen for the free kick your the captain sort out the defence! its your job.

No problem we will win at the bridge put it down to unlucky 13!

I knew we'd lose today. Only Silva of our best players being match fit/available made it pretty easy for them.

Even so, Arsenal showed us exactly what to do to Chelsea in 2 weeks time.

Yet another game where the opponenet has put everyone behind the ball and we've struggled. The first goal is always crucial in these games and they were handed it by Mike Dean, who seems on a mission this year to fuck us over. Once Arsenal had the lead, it was always going to be tough and we didn't play anywhere near well enough. Some outright shocking individual performances in there as well, along with some players who don't look good enough to be relied on as part of the squad in the future.

As terrible as Navas's delivery was, he was still the only player who looked like he might create something resembling a chance, which is pretty damning for the rest of the team.

Demichelis and Kompany can thank their lucky stars that they aren't called Mangala, as they would be getting a BM lynching right now if they were. Kompany was unlucky on the pnealty but looked rusty, whereas Martin was just fucking awful.

We need a result against Chelsea, otherwise we're getting dangerously close to having our season over. Maybe time to start building for the future, promote some kids and start planning for life without some of our current players.

Or don't be pussys and move on to the next match and go on a run like we always do after a poor result. Win next week and i believe the title is ours. Man up people, winning titiles from poor positions is what we do now.
You should probably avoid the related thread to the last relevant match if you want to move on to the next one.

Shouldn't you?..
Weak.
As weak as ignoring an inexcusable team performance?

This thread is to discuss what just happened it the Arsenal match.

All that work to catch Chelsea gone so easily.

We are different team without Yaya and Nasri, our 2 most important players.

This is what gets me, we did so well in December and late November. That has been frittered away and it does grate a little.
We did look a bit headless also it has to be said.

Nothing major but i would like to see all these issues fixed.
We have the squad for it, now we just need to show it...again.

I am terrified for the Chelsea match. Chelsea would have Arsenal with the this strung-together team for lunch today. The next may just end of being more about damage limitation. Apparently "No YaYa, No City".
Chelsea will play exactly the same as arsenal with the knowledge that they are better at it. We are fucked at Stamford bridge.
