City v Arsenal Post Match

If you believe in the agenda you will want to stay away from Sky, TalkSPORT and the "newspapers" this week.

It's difficult for them to contain their jubilation when we lose a game, but losing to an old top 4 team with Chelsea going clear might result in orgasms on air up and down the country.

You should probably avoid the related thread to the last relevant match if you want to move on to the next one.

Shouldn't you?..
Weak.
As weak as ignoring an inexcusable team performance?

This thread is to discuss what just happened it the Arsenal match.
who's ignoring it? just im not a whinger who can't take it and gives up. We had shocking defeats in both of our recent title winning seasons yet we prevailed. One defeat and fuckin hell some people want a court marshall, it happens, win next week in we're favourites. I'm assuming you know this but get really pissed off after defeats.

Hailed as a tactical master-class, yet all they did was what every other team has done here this season, just with better quality players, the result was coming.

Why play the waste of space Navas, when we could play Barker?

exactly

start playing some players from the youth ffs

Barker is going enough to be getting mins from the bench and even kean bryan can be a decent option in MF

It was one of those days where nothing went right. So much of our play involves Merlin working with Yaya and Nasri around the box. Merlin was lost because he didn't have the support around him.

I have to say I am not a fan of Fernando. I would prefer bringing Jason Denayer back from Celtic next season and playing him in that role.

The other issue is that Kun and Vinny lacked game time and appeared rusty.

Overall we cop it on the chin. Does anyone know when ACON finishes and Yaya comes back?

Navas should be released no word of a lie.

Milner was equally as poor.

Honestly, I thought he was terrible. If we've offered him a new contract, we should withdraw the offer. Showed us why he's a backup squad player at best.

It's a game of football ffs!, nobody died, got hurt or lost their jobs. Some you win some you lose, grow up some of you fucking c**ts ffs.

We haven't won a Premiership game without Yaya since April I think I read somewhere.

When next the question is asked "who do we miss the most?" The answer is Yaya, he pulls us through these games time and again.

I hate AFCON.

The Lampard substitution come at a time when the team looked like it would go on and score. He shouldn't of made that sub when he did. Infact that sub should never happen again (Lampard for Fernandhnio) or any other central midfielder against a top team. He just ran foward and never got back. Fernando was left isolated and there was times Aguero and jovetic had to put in sprints to get back because Arsenal bypassed the midfield without even having to try.
