Newcastle 1968....estimated 27000+ ....all pay on the gate.

The A62 & A1 were just nose to tail with City fans from early in the morning and chaotic on the way back.

That was some day !!

Saw a bunch of fans sat on the back of a flat bed truck going up the A1, the Newcastle fans were great that day.

Just watched this on youtube what a day it was, city fans everywhere that day , great atmosphere ,
Good memories and no doubt plenty ov stories, was a great night in town when we got back

It was a beautiful day all round- it was roasting! We took over that town for the day :)

My Year 10 Geography teacher let me laminate the MEN pullout poster in class and stick it on the wall. Absolutely love watching the match back. Poor Matt Jansen was on fire that day haha
