City v Bristol City 1st leg post match

You don't need a fucking computer game to expect the unbeaten league leaders, with the world's best manager and 2 or 3 of the world's top players, who can dick teams like Spurs, should destroy a lower division side.

Hugely disappointing tonight when we could have made the second leg so easy and given our first teamers a rest for league matches. Not good enough tonight.
Well fucking boo hoo you. It’s a shame that fewer and fewer city fans seem able to give credit to any other teams, ever. Expecting to win every game, no matter what. I think people criticise the rags for it and call it being entitled. It was the one thing I thought wouldn’t happen to City but apparently not.
Being undefeated domestically halfway through January, most top division points ever, at this stage, highest goal scorers and best defensive record in the country. And yet, for you and others, it’s often ‘not good enough’.............

I don't feel sorry for Bristol at all, I feel happy for City. Happy for the manager, happy for players playing every 3 fucking days for months, as well as for players clearly lacking match practice / out of form giving everything they've got. A team finding the courage to once again come from behind and win, a team keeping its composure till the last second, a team refusing to give up. I am moved by this team's heart, effort and professionalism, I feel privileged being their supporter.

Anyway City won again so I understand certain people in this forum feel ... let's say uncomfortable? Tough luck, I guess they'll have to wait for their next opportunity on Sunday. Congratulations to Bristol, fucking come on City!!!
+1

Spot on mate

Bristol played well, we just edged it & are continuing the rather enjoyable habit of late winners.

Feel for Tosin though, Mangala is clearly not trusted by Pep & likely off in the summer, yet starts ahead of him in this game in the competition that's most likely Tosin's best chance at game time - find it hard to see who really benefits from that decision.
Similarly Yaya, but no obvious replacement for him so I see the reasoning.
