It shouldn't have been an injury too far though. The management know we've only got one capable DM and yet they still fucked about getting Fernando.

The blueprint on how to beat us has been out in the open for a long time now
If that comment has one ounce of sense in it, why the fuck has hardly anyone beaten us?

I despair sometimes.
Most teams don't have the balls or the personel. Four teams have managed it so far( one of those twice) in the league and that's plenty as far as I'm concerned.
Yeah, that 'out in the open blueprint' stopped top teams conceding six goals at a time didn't it? Don't talk bollocks.

Unbeaten against Chelsea in 5 games last season. This season, played 2 lost 2 - difference Jose!

Pellegrini? ;)

Moron-inho had a full squad to choose from tonight but Pellegrini was restricted with his squad. If we had Aguero, Nasri, Fernandinho I think it would have been a different result.

Look, it's okay to not score against Chelsea, they're defence is solid. In this kind of game, you don't want to concede any goals, unfortunately we did.

We got it all wrong today though. And then we played badly too, just to finish the job.

I said before kickoff that we would struggle to score against Chelsea, who had kept 5 clean sheets and conceded 1 goal in their previous 6 games. I said we had to keep possession above all else and be patient. 1-0 or maybe 2-1 was always going to be enough.

This being the case 4-4-2 was never right, arguably even if Fernandino had been fit. And once we could ALL see it wasn't working, we should have changed it.

Who knows whether today will prove significant or not. And of course 1 defeat does not change everything. But we cannot say that today was anything other than a total fuck up.

Our Starting 11 might be the best, but it really lacks quality in some position, that we havent strengthened this january, Still, sooo many muscle injuries? whats up with the physios?

What sort of lunatic question is that. Fuck me, they are all out tonight.

Honestly, I am not sure it would.

What do we think of Nastasic performance of late, I would of preferred the aerial ability of MD to attack the ball rather than a player who keeps flattering to deceive.
JM in the middle and yaya advanced would of won this game.

Did someone die? We're second in the league. We lost a game against one of our closest rivals after an amazing run of victories. We were missing 3 of our most influential players. Clearly, we weren't at our best tonight but some of the whining on here is uncalled for. I'll take solace in the ever improving Jovetic. Onwards and upwards.

actually walking bad form the match I was livid but reading your comment made me reflect that it was a bad day @ the office

when i last checked the world was still spinning

We didn't even expect to be in for Fernando, so these what-if's weren't even spoke about a week ago. I'm sure the deal would have been done if it was feasible. There was hardly anyone decent available this transfer window. We've spunked money in the past and been left with players on our hands that weren't good enough. Let's not go down that road again.
