City v Chelsea post match

Still not beaten a top 6 side in 2 years says it all, simply not good enough, we won't win anything this year I expect pep to have a plan to move us to the next level next season. It's clear we need speed at the back apart from Stones to be the only survivor including the keeper. I think if we can sort the back out the rest is ok just a few additions to the squad.
This is the uncomfortable truth. The other unmentionable is Aguero is a flat track bully. When did he last score against a top four contender? Not been the same player since White Hart Lane in Pellegrini's first season. Time to move him on, while his value and reputation is high. Let's hope Jesus saves!

Sergio is a flat track bully? Good God.

Probably the most stupid comment for a long time.

I shudder to think what our squad has cost so far

And yet it seems we still need about 6 top player's

Maybe another 200 million ?

Yeah great idea, let's get rid of the greatest striker we've ever had. Best in the league and in the top 5 on the planet and one who would walk into any team in the world !!!

Scored against Leicester, Arsenal, Liverpool and West Ham last season. Also against Chelsea home and away including a superb hat trick at Stamford Bridge. Not forgetting numerous goals against top European teams

We've only played 2 top teams this season (3 if you want to include scum but Sergio didn't play there) and he was unlucky not to score in both games he played

Well said. Some proper jokers about at the moment.

Positives first. We cut them apart on the right (Navas had one of his better games for us) and he and KDB created chances.

Ref a bent rag ****. The Cahill handball and Sideshow Bob red card would have meant game over for the chavs. His failure to penalise them in the brawl shows his performance was utterly biased and Pep's sarcasm shows there will be pressure behind the scenes.

Back 3 may work against some teams but Kolarov too slow against any sort of pace, which yesterday meant when Willian came on. Even Vardy could show him up. Ota was poor as analysis showed.

Oh and why weren't the fans making as much noise in the second half as we did in the first?

Fernandinho lost it at the end and we will miss him.

The morning after, I actually think we played well. MOTD showed me how many chances we actually had. There were two pivotal moments: Antony Taylor bottling sending off Luiz, and De Bruyne missing the easiest chance of his career. One of those turns out differently and we walk the game.

We need to start putting in our chances, and we need to sort our defence out. But the bit in the middle- we're good at that.

Don't like blaming referees, but Cahill handball, Navas trip, Gundogan tackle. If none of them should have been a penalty I'll eat my own hand.

Sergio really hates Luiz doesn't he.

Otamendi has to go IMO. He's a liability and an accident waiting to happen every single match.

How was the foul by Kante on Gundogan not a penalty?

Absolutely disgusting from Sergio on Luiz but as said above if the referee controls the game it doesn't come to that. I wonder if retrospective action will be taking firstly for Chalobah steaming in and shoving Sergio to the floor and secondly for Fabregas' petulent slap before Dinho's brain-loss moment?

Conte and his anti-football tactics are not welcome in England, just like Mourinho's aren't. They'll come undone soon enough.

Edit: I meant to add that while I can see the benefit of Bravo's footballing ability, how many saves has he not made this year that would've been bread and butter for Hart? I'm not saying that Hart is the right keeper, but we need to find a better goalkeeper than Bravo who can also play football

The tackle by Kantè wasn't a foul he simply nicked the ball away from Gundogan.

Chalobah got a yellow card after the incident - Retrospective action is unlikely.

Not sure Fabregas was booked though.
